Sandals Grande Antigua
Wow, what an experience to be at Sandals Grand Antigua. My fiancee and I went to see if this is the locaiton we would like to get married at next year. The combination of two resorts is simply amazing. But the resort isn't special if the staff aren't as wonderful as they are. From Shermell and Leonard (Med. concierge), Stanley (Carr. concierge), Lydia (wedding dept), Jeroma and Despina (sales dept), Tatjiana and Sarah (Red Lane), Marcus and Rodney (bar), Mark, Eric,Kravel, Sheena, Ivorene, Carol (Kimono), Violet and Vanessa (Bayside), Collin, Omega, Octavia (Snapshot), Kia (Pizza), and Brendaline(Soon Come Back), all of them provided us excellent service during our stay. We look forward in seeing them again next year...our new found Sandals family.

Sandals Grande Antigua
This was a vacation to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. It was our 3rd time at Sandals Grande Antigua and we are welcome home with open arms. We love it here. The service was impeccable, from the time we arrive until we leave. Albert and the concierge team greeted us and took care of us. The entertainment staff made sure we never had a dull moment. Lady Shaunte', Lady Stooche (Onika), Morrison, Crazy Antonio, Kevin, Emmanuel, DJ Sporty & the rest of the staff kept us entertained. We frequently stopped by the bakery and Sylvia, Nicole & Cathy showed us so much love. The pool bars were the places to be. Miss Toyia & Teandra took care of us. We had spa treatments, Beverly was great. The food...awesome at all restaurants. Pizza, pizza Olyncia & Saskehia made sure we had enough. Our luggage was even taken care of..thanks Leonard & John I. I had a little problem but it was taken care of right by 1 of the managers Donovan. We invited my cousin to come vacation with and I warned her that her & her husband would be hooked. They are going back next year. If you haven't been here please try it you'll be hooked as well.

Sandals Grande Antigua
Absolutely love Sandals Grande Antigua and the new addition to the resort since we last stayed in April 2006. Our butlers, Sheldon and Freeland, took most wonderful care of us. We were especially excited when were upgraded to a villa upon our arrival which made the Weddingmoon even more wonderful. Thank you Sandals for making our wedding the most wonderful first day of our lives as husband and wife!

Sandals Grande Antigua
Sandals Antigua property is the most beautiful of the 3 Sandals we have visited. The gardens, mature trees, birds chirping, star gazing by the fire, and the beautiful beach made the trip amazing. The food & drinks were excellent, and the staff at the Cricketer Pub had us all laughing and having fun. Enjoyed the boat tour Excellence around the island, saw a flying fish and were blessed to see a mother and baby hump back whale. Came back home refreshed, renewed and full of happy memories of the wonderful people we met during our stay. All Smiles!

Sandals Grande Antigua
If you want to go to a resort, Sandals is the place. I have been to three and all were relaxing, fun, great entertainment and the staff are absolutely nice and fun. All the resorts are unique in their own way and beautiful. The food is so delicious. The pools are amazing and the beach is breathtaking. I have been with my boyfriend for over eight years and can't wait for the day he asks me to marry him so I can get married at Sandals. Sandals is our romantic getaway and I want to share my special day at a Sandals with my guy and family.

Sandals Grande Antigua
We had an amazing time at Sandals Grande Antigua! The resort was beautiful and really felt like we were in the Carribean! My birthday was also during this trip and the playmakers made my night. I entered a dance contest in the courtyard area and won a bottle of Antigua Rum! The playmakers took pictures with me and we had a great time. We love the beach and there was plenty of room to soak up the sun and have drinks. The beach wasn't very crowded and enjoyed the privacy of laying out and relaxing. We loved the dining and Mario's and the OK Corral, were our two favorites. The Chicken Parmesan at Mario's was amazing and the Fajitas and Chicken Wings at the OK Corral were great as well! Our favorite drink was the Banana Sip Sop. This was the perfect drink and made this for all of our friends back in North Carolina. Overall this resort was everything we wanted from a honeymoon! Great beach, food, drinks, and the staff were top notch. Thank you Sandals for a great experience!

Sandals Grande Antigua
We just got back from our wedding/honeymoon both were at Sandals Grande Antigua. First of all, our butlers, Vanessa and Julian, were AMAZING! They made the trip so memorable and romantic! From bringing us breakfast in bed to beautifully decorating our room with flowers and palm fronds, they were a perfect ten. Definitely, ask for them if you decide to splurge on having a butler room. Also, Vanessa brought us cheese and crackers and Champagne EVERY night. Also, she helped us win the scavenger hunt. Couldn't have done it without you, Vanessa! Next our encounter was with the wedding staff. We meet with LuAnna. She was perfect and helped delivered our vision within our budget. She was honest and opinionated which helped us be able to choose each detail with confidence. The day of the wedding was perfect and not rushed at all. Our meals were delicious and service was impeccable. The whole experience was delightful and relaxed. I highly recommend having your wedding here. Also, the photographer, Marian, was INCREDIBLE!!! The pictures are like in a magazine. All of my friends are so amazed at the pictures. My only complaint was that there were too many beautiful ones to choose from! She definitely has an eye for photography and was absolutely delightful to work with. Another amazing feature of the hotel was the staff of Playmakers. Emmanuel, Chantel and Kevin made each game so much fun! We never had a chance to be bored because of all the extremely fun activities they offered. But it was not only the activities that drew us in, it was the high energy, fun attitude of the Playmakers that made everyone want to participate in their games! We played so many different games that we got enough points for t-shirts, necklaces & a bottle of rum to take home!!! Also, the staff for the scuba diving was great, too. Maurice was awesome and helped us learn to scuba in under 3 hours and let us go out that same day! It was awesome!!! Finally, the overall hotel and restaurants were fantastic. I could not possible recommend this hotel more if I could. I want to go back next year and the next and the next! Hope this is helpful! :) Kelley & Alex

Sandals Grande Antigua
Sandals was awesome best vacation ever. We stayed in the Mediterranean side in the portofino suite, which was awesome such a nice big patio surrounded by flowers. Love the huge pool Celia who served us our drinks everyday was so nice loved her she would call us by our names which meant alot. Food was awesome great meals everynight. We had a couples massage in one of the cabanas by the pool which was so relaxing. We renewed our wedding vows there and Sasha the wedding planner did everything she was the best. It was more than we ever could imagine. the pictures were awesome and then we had sunset pictures done which was unbelievable. The beach party on the beach was so much fun. We will defintely be returning. the grounds were so beautiful. Highly recommend this resort. Its the best

Our first visit to this resort was truly excellent. The infrastructure is first class in every way, but what makes this resort extraordinary is the staff. From Matthew, the Manager of the Med side and his daily interest in ensuring EVERYTHING is perfect, to Danesha our concierge, the ladies in the Cafe de Paris. the Mario\'s over the top friendly staff, Jennifer B. our room maid who focussed on ensuring our room was perfect and included personal touches every day,Latoya of Latoya\'s Pool fame who made our days there fun and perfect, he entertainment folk in both the Caribbean and Mediterranean sides, Karen from the Come Back Soon desk who helped in many ways, and even the professional yet happy security folk all over the resort. If you want alone time, there are beautiful quiet spots everywhere. If you want to do more, all you have to do is look interested and someone will help you. The beach is the best Sandals beach we have visited. Antigua is safe, beautiful and with much to see. This resort will make you want to stay there all the time, but be sure to explore as well. We hired a cab for the day from the resort, not expensive, and definitely money well spent. Our driver was a professional guide as well, with excellent information and ideas. We have booked again for next year already. We love St Lucia and the three resorts there as well, all for their own reasons, but we now have another alternative that is outstanding. Dave & Jen

Sandals Grande Antigua
Had a great time in Antigua at first thought we should of went back St Lucia but after a couple days and getting our bearings and talking to Steven at concierge everything went great. The Topez room we had was fantastic with great view and this is the room we booked for our first week and we\'re planning to move to lower level room on caravan side for the 2nd week. But thanks to Sandals we were offered to stay in the same room for our 2nd week which believe it or not was our free week since we had our 70 nights at Sandals last year. Pizzeria for lunch was very good, lobster was at Elanors,OK Corral was not buffet for breakfast so that was our go to. Barefoot by sea was very romantic and server Stacia was the best. Shawn Davis food and beverage manager made this trip a success. The GM was present at all times of the day never knowing where he would show up. The grounds on this property is superior and very well kept. Other workers to mention but will save them for the survey that the hotel sends out. Thanks again Sandals

Wow! It has been 8 months since we took our honeymoon at Sandals Antigua and we still talk about it almost daily. In fact we are trying to plan an anniversary trip there in August again. My wife & I just returned from our second trip to Sandals Antigua Resort & Spa. We spent two weeks at this beautiful resort & it gets better every time. The resort it’s self gets better every year as the gardens grow & the colors are great. As a photographer it’s nonstop shooting great shots around this beautiful property. One of the best highlights of this resort is the people that work there. Managers like Gerald Christ, Matthew Cornall, Nicholas Bersma, Donovan Dobson, (Main pool bar), Althea, Cherise G., Carlos, Teandra, & (Restaurants) Kenelm, Garth, Patrick (Baby Shack) & Kenny. All these people & many more help make your vacation one of the best times of your life. The food is five star at all restaurants on the property & being a large resort there are many to pick from. Even after sending two weeks you never get tired of trying a new dish. There are many smaller pools & one very large pool that have many lounge chairs & lots of umbrellas. The pools are very clean & the hot tubs are hot. All the pools are quite with very low soft music paying in the background. Great spot for having a snooze! The beach is great, white sand & great for long walks with the warm ocean water meeting your feet. All in all this is the best resort we have found & will keep coming back to enjoy the people, resort & the island.

Sandals Grande Antigua was the best! We hooked up with our friends from the UK for a wonderful week of rest, relaxation and fun. We found Grande Antigua to be a wonderful resort to stay at. The food in all the restaurants was superb! The entertainment good and the staff...there aren't enough words to describe their friendliness and hospitality. We will definately return but not until we venture to Jamaica and St. Lucia!

I visited Sandals Grande Antigua resorts and Spa on May 7 2010 it was my boyfriends birthday weekend. I wanted to do something special for him so we stayed 4day and 3 nights in a newly renovated Honeymoon Ocean view Suite it was beautiful. Very nice room with a Jacuzzi tub. We also had a butler name Moreen she was amazing she went out of her way to please us. She also had a smile and was very professional. On the night we arrived it was my boyfriend birthday she decorated the room with rose pedals and put a cake and champagne in our room . She always had a place for us on the beach with a cooler full of drinks. The restaurants all had excellent foods and wonderful I loved the coconut cake . We ordered a love nest package it included a massage and in room romantic decorations and a romantic private candlelight dinner on the beach. I would highly recommend Sandals Antigua to all of my friends it was a great experience.

Not only was it our honeymoon, but my wife's Bday. The band sang happy bday to her, the chef made a special dessert. We really felt special. The staff was really supberb, the food was great & so were the bartenders.We had a lot of fun & made fast friends with other wonderful guests. the rm was nice too. We had a view of the garden & a balcony. Loved it & can't wait to go back!
