Sandals Grande Riviera
This was our vacation/honeymoon and the Sandals staff made it very special! Everyone was very personable and pleasant. We never saw anyone unhappy about being there. Danielle at the tour desk was amazing! She was so helpful setting up our excursions and made sure that we enjoyed ourselves! Dewayne with the watersports literally made our vacation when he took us out snorkeling. He was very informative about answering any questions we had about the island and the reefs. We loved talking to anyone who would talk to us! Friendly is an understatement! The only thing that needs improvement would be the beds- just a little hard. Sandals Grande Riviera
My husband decided to surprise me for our 10th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to the Grand Riviera. He could not have picked a better place. From the moment we arrived the entire staff was simply the best. They made us feel as if we were at our home..away from home. I wish I could remember the name of every staff member we encounter because they were all fantastic. I must mention Karah, Rodney (playmakers), Candy, Valin, Keisha (SnapShots), Jason (Concierge), Tex (Kimonos), Panzie who served our Candle Light Dinner and the entire Front Desk Staff. They along with beautiful accommodations of Sandals made our stay unbelievable. The restaurants were fabulous. The atmosphere was uncomparable. I will be recommending the Grand Riviera to all of our friends. We appreciate you all. Keep up the good work and we will see you again...SOON!

Sandals Grande Riviera
My boyfriend and I went to Sandals Grande Riviera for my 25th birthday last year. It was the best vacation we have ever been on. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, every meal was fabulous, and the fun never stopped. We plan on returning again this year if possible, but this time, for our 5 years of dating anniversary.

Sandals Grande Riviera
This was the first time we went to a sandals resort and we were not disappointed. The service was amazing and although all the staff was great a couple people made our stay a memorable one. First there is Paula who upgraded us after our pool wasn't working. She made our inconvenience a convenience. The room was beautiful. We had the pool to ourselves and we also had a jacuzzi!!!! There was also Charlette at consierge that made our stay a memorable one with her bubbly personality and great service. She was always there when we needed something. We also found Glenroy and tanoya at the manor restaurant an exceptional young man and woman. They made our dining experience a special one. Even the manager marc came to see us personally to make sure everything was ok. That made us feel very special. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!! We highly recommend this resort and can't wait to go back.

Sandals Grande Riviera
We are telling all our family and friends about how fantastic and gorgeous Jamaica is. We decided on a destination wedding because we did not want to spend all our money on a wedding, stress out planning it, not enjoy the day, and not be able to afford a Honeymoon. Sandals made the whole thing so easy and affordable! We had phone conversations with the Sandals wedding coordinator and paid for everything in advance. So now all we had to do was show up at Grand Riviera and have fun! We were married at the Reef Gazebo. We had a small group, just six of us. The resort really made our day quite special. We even were surprised to find out the restaurant was willing to serve us as a private dinner right on the Gazebo! Thanks to our wedding coordinator on site there for arranging that! We are very pleased with the video, and photography of our wedding as well. We are very glad we spent the money on that. We even got to see the video and make a few changes before we left the resort. Impressive! It was the best trip of our lives so far. I am sure we will go back someday...we told our daughter she should think about getting married there as well...we just need to find her a fiance!

Sandals Grande Riviera
Our recent visit to Sandals was everything we imagined and more. When we got off the bus at the resort, we fell in love all over again. We did not want to leave and we definitely plan on returning. We spent seven days on the resort for our wedding and honeymoon. The help we received in planning our wedding was excellent. Our photographers took amazing photos (Special thanks to Allerine and my hair & makeup photographer). Our family and friends loves the photos. Our wedding chauffeur Ishmael was wonderful (highly recommended). Special thanks to our wedding planner Kerry-Ann. All of the staff at the resort were extremely friendly. Our favorite restaurant was Sabrina's Marketplace. Our entire stay was very relaxing and we had a blast. We would like to thank everyone at Sandals for making our first visit there an absolutely amazing experience.

Sandals Grande Riviera
Our honeymoon at Sandals Grande Riviera in Ocho Rios was absolutely perfect. Our bungalow was charming and secluded enough from the nightlife to make it our own slice of paradise. The restaurants were good and the staff was absolutely amazing. We climbed the waterfalls, swam with the dolphins, rode horses in the ocean, and went scuba diving three times. It was absolutely fantastic.

Sandals Grande Riviera
This was my second Sandals to visit. The first was Sandals Grande St. Lucian, so i had something to compare. First as usual the arrival was effortless, waited in the Sandals Lounge the took the bus ride, which for us was enjoyable we stopped about 1 hr into the ride at a small local restaurant and got some beer, and jerk chicken to go. It was very good and spicey. We stayed on the Manor House side with Concierge Service. For us the concierge was perfect, we met people with butler service, and there were a couple of extra perks, but not enough for the cost, since the rooms were the same. We stayed in the Bougaineville Hideaway Suite with pool. It was nice only used the private pool twice. Since we were there for 2 weeks we experienced everything. Our most enjoyable time was of course the other couples we met while we were there, the second was the playmakers who made our experience unforgettable. I would like to personally say what an outstanding job the following playmakers did, and remid you we were there for 2 weeks. Anton ( my favorite ), Rodney ( in training, but awesome) Josie,( very sweet, my wife loved her) Natalia ( aka Booty Love) Anastacia (tall and gorgeous), Keymarley entertaining and can dance). These specific playmakers would be the the top reason I would return to Grande Riviera). All the bartenders were great, even allowed me to make my own drink and served to everyone (strawberry dacquiri, ontop of a dirty banana). The service was fast and never had me waiting. The pools were great The Manor Poll was the place to be from 10am until 3pm, The riviera Pool was the place from 3pm-6pm. We enjoyed both each day. These are our favorite restaurants in order,The Beach Party (Fri. Nights), Valentinos, Reef Terrace, China Doll, Kelly's Dockside, The Riviera Buffet, Bayside, Mariners, Neptunes, Soy,Sabrinas, Manor House, Kimonos and Dino's. The activities as well as the excursions were fun we did them all and recommend: Dunn's River Falls Catamaran, Snorkel Excursion, Scuba Diving, The Manor Pool Games, The Spa, and Paddel Boards. I do not recommend The zipline, tubing, wind sail catamaran, and trikes. The nightly entertainment is fun The Ampitheatre has some good shows, and games, Jaime's sports bar is fun, but can become extremely hot, and The Polo Lounge is relaxing. I would recommend a movie night on the beach, personal golf cart for concierge level

Well it was my first hot holiday so i wasnt sure what to expect, but the staff at Sandals took care of everything. They were some of the friendliest people i have ever met.The meals were great, our favorite was the Reef Terrace, if you go there hopefully Donovan will be your server. We enjoyed the fitness program that was offered, the morning power walk with Bishop, the rock wall and weight and cardio rooms.We also took in a few tours with Island Routes,they offer something for everyone, Marsha will help you out. The first thing everyone has asked about our trip has been would you go back, and i tell them that i wouldnt change anything about our trip, I would go back just to see the people, and as you can tell by our photo my wife didnt want to leave either.

Where do I even begin?! My husband and I chose the Sandals Grande Riviera as our getaway spot for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Neither of us had ever been to Jamaica, so we were unsure of what to expect. I can most certainly say that Sandals, and the ENTIRE staff at the Grande Riviera, created one of the most amazing vacations ever. Soy was our favorite dining location, but Kimonos (including our chef Tex and bartender Fabian) was another favorite. Kelly's, Neptune's, and Valentino's were all fabulous as well. We did the katamaran ride to Dunns River Falls and back, which was one of the most memorable things we did during our week in Ochi. The DJ was great, bartender was efficient, and everyone else made sure each and every guest had the time of their life during that 4 hour excursion. Paul, Avi, Sheryl, and Andrea in concierge were fantastic. They are friendly, efficient, and make the added cost of concierge service well worth it. Chakera at the Soon Come Back desk is a hoot. She knows the resorts and is definitely the girl to see for booking your next Sandals vacation. Natalia and Karah are "playmakers" that MUST be kept on staff. They were SOOOO much fun and made our time at the pool, and elsewhere, extremely enjoyable. They both have fantastic personalities and really encompass the title of "playmaker." I obviously could go on and on about the resort and staff, but in short...WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU SPEND!!! We will most certainly be coming back again soon to visit.

Our first trip to Sandals - and now we can't wait till the next one! We loved the resort, and all the very friendly people we met who "worked" there. I say "worked" because whenever we needed something we were never made to feel like they had to work to help us... it seemed like the people who worked there couldn't do enough to make us comfortable! I can't remember all the people but the staff at the Marketplace restaurant on Wednesday night were so gracious to us (we were not properly dressed) - waiter ?Daniel? and the manager -- she was SO NICE!! Also - playmaker Josie was amazing fun and friendly, she sets the bar high for the rest of her team. We came to Sandals for the James-Devlin wedding and we had a great time at Kimono's for dinner on Saturday - our chef was very accommodating and I know it was difficult to seat 16 people at once. One night we went out to Kelly's to have a drink while the sun went down and on a whim asked if we could have dinner later on. The manager very kindly found a reservation for us without much wait so we enjoyed the sunset, some cocktails, and the dinner was delicious when they could seat us. Everyone was pleasant - from the front desk staff, the drivers from oceanside to hillside, our personal photographer (very talented) - there's too many people to recall by name, but a hearty thank you for helping us to truly relax, enjoy ourselves, and immerse ourselves in the Sandals style. This place was great. During our time here we had the opportunity to learn to Scuba dive, eat at every restaurant, and take in most of the shows. When you go be sure to take one pair of good cloths and try every restaurant on the list. We almost skipped China Doll because we thought "It's Chinese food, we can get that at home" boy were we wrong. The scuba was awesome, for no additional price we got to go see several reefs, a sunken ship, and more aquatic life than imaginable. It also kept us from just sitting by the pool/beach drinking all day by putting a little structure in our day. It was the best week we have ever had. We will be returning to Sandals resorts again.

It’s a great place to explore. We enjoyed the Reunion Week activities. The morning buffet and steel drums entertainment on our last day was so special. The manager and his wonderful British assistant were cheery and fun. Our last night was memorable down by the beach enjoying the beach party buffet. We didn’t even need to change, so, wrapped in our reunion week towels we joined the party! We enrolled in the Soon Come Back program and are happy we did as we were able to receive a wonderful discount on our room and had the ease of knowing we could change our reservation to another location if we so desired. This year we’re going to St. Lucia but we’ll be thinking of returning to Sandals Grande Ocho Rios in the future.

From the time we arrived to the time we departed the staff at Sandals made us feel like we were at home. We are both so happy that we chose Sandals Grande Ocho Rios for our wedding. Having traveled to many islands and resorts, I find that most are the same aside from locale and decor. The one thing that sets Sandls GOR apart from the rest is its service. I specifically remember a house keeper named Curtis who was called to our Villa because my husband was sick. What could have been a very embarassing situation was handled with grace and discretion by a man who actually whistled and sang as he cleaned for us. Second to the service is the great food, atmosphere and beauty of the grounds. I was very pleased and am returning next year.
