Sandals Grande Antigua
My Last Visit
People ask us which Sandals resort has been our favorite and I have to tell them that we can't single one out as our favorite because we have loved them all for different reasons. Each one has its own flair. Negril was the first Sandals we visited in Feb. 2005. The staff there made our trip so memorable for us. People ask us which Sandals resort has been our favorite and I have to tell them that we can't single one out as our favorite because we have loved them all for different reasons. Each one has its own flair. Negril was the first Sandals we visited in Feb. 2005. The staff there made our trip so memorable for us. Everyone remembered us from day to day and we found the Jamaican people to be amongst the most pleasant of all. Our housekeeper, Pansi, would put a bouquet of fresh flowers in our room each day that she had picked herself. We had a room in the Sundowner block with the most beautiful ocean view! The sunsets in Negril are truly amazing! One night, there was even a saxophonist playing on the beach as the sun went down! We loved our trip so much that we decided to take our kids to Beaches Turks and Caicos that November. They still talk about that trip and would love to go back! The snorkeling there is truly amazing! They also had great entertainment at night for the young and the young at heart! We then decided that every Feb. for our anniversary we would try another Sandals resort. We went to Dunns River in Feb. 2006. When Maria brought us to our upgraded oceanfront Butler room I actually cried! The room was truly amazing with two balconies, one facing the ocean and one facing the beautiful waterfall pool, a jacuzzi for two, living room, and 2 bathrooms! I fell asleep each night to the sound of the ocean waves, something I've been longing for ever since! The chocolate buffet there was to die for! We last went to Sandals Antigua this past Feb. The island of Antigua is so beautiful! The resort grounds were gorgeous, so lush and tropical! The staff there, again, were all so pleasant, always smiling and some actually singing as they worked. The managers there were great. Franklin Eaton could be found mingling with his guests quite often and was at breakfast most mornings serving Mimosas! We have loved the food at all of the resorts. We especially love the Japanese restaurants. The chefs have always put on a great show! We've never had a meal we didn't care for and have always walked away much too full! This Feb. we are booked at the Sandals St Lucia Regency! We booked a Waters Edge Suite with butler service! I can't wait to fall asleep each night to the sound of the ocean waves again! Thank you Sandals!

My favorite memories of our Beaches Turks and Caicos trip are of my children and my nephews snorkeling for the first time and our ride on the Banana Boat. They loved snorkeling and looking for the many hidden treasures you can find in the amazingly clear waters of Turks and Caicos! The Banana Boat ride was a blast! We couldn't stop laughing after capsizing and looking around to see the entire family, 12 of us, bobbing around in the water! Getting back on was just as funny!
