Menu options are typically limited, and you are constantly worried about whether the waiter or waitress understood your special requests. This can take away from the relaxed and stress free environment a vacation is supposed to provide. At Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts we believe our guests should be able to unwind, and worry about nothing, which is why as part of our Discovery Dining program we offer guests an opportunity to address their dietary restrictions to allow for a more comfortable Caribbean getaway.
On this week’s webisode, “Dining in the Caribbean with Dietary Restrictions” we walk you through the steps we take to assist our guests who suffer with food allergies. Colin Watson, the Executive Chef of Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, thoroughly explains what this program entails including a culinary concierge desk where menus from each restaurant are provided for guests review, designated preparation stations for modified orders, and special ingredients available for guests with food restrictions. The webisode also features guest, Daffney Eckmann, a sufferer of celiac disease who shares her culinary experience while vacationing with us at Beaches Turks & Caicos.
