Terms and Conditions of the Sandals Select Rewards Membership Program

The Sandals® Select Rewards Membership Program (the "SSR Program") was conceived and developed exclusively for guests of participating Sandals and Beaches Resorts (the “Participating Resorts”). The SSR Program rewards participating members ("Sandals Select Members" or “Members”) for their loyalty to Sandals and Beaches Resorts by offering unique benefits to make every stay at our family of resorts even more memorable. Unique Travel Corp the exclusive worldwide representative of Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas established the terms and conditions herein which shall govern membership, benefits, and usage of "Sandals Select Awards Points" or "Awards Points" (as defined herein) and redemption in the SSR Program.

I. Reservation of Rights:

Unique Travel Corp reserves the right to modify, change, alter or terminate the SSR Program at any time, without notice at our sole discretion. Sandals Select Rewards Members should check all applicable terms and conditions periodically for changes by visiting www.sandalsselect.com/terms. Changes may affect, but are not limited to, partner affiliations, rules for earning Sandals Select Awards Points and nights, Sandals Select Awards Points redemption levels required for specific awards, rules for the use of Awards Points, continued availability of awards, award inventory, award types, and certain features of special offers. The accumulation of Sandals Select Awards Points does not entitle Sandals Select Rewards Members to any vested rights with respect to any points, awards or Program benefits. In the event of termination of the SSR Program, Sandals Select Awards Points shall be forfeited to the participating resorts without remuneration or any further obligation or liability to Members, and no award claims shall be honored thereafter.

The Awards Points, awards, membership tier status, membership benefits, and other aspects of a Sandals Select Rewards account do not constitute property or a property interest, have no intrinsic monetary value, and may not be converted into money. The Awards Points, awards, membership tier status, membership benefits, and other aspects of a Sandals Select Rewards account may not be transferred, assigned, divided, or conveyed, whether by agreement, order, operation of law, divorce, inheritance, or bankruptcy, except only that Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, honor properly and timely submitted requests in the manner provided in these Terms and Conditions and consistent herewith.

II. SIGNING UP FOR MEMBERSHIP:

A person must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in the SSR Program. There is a limit of one Sandals Select Rewards account per household and each Sandals Select Rewards account must have a primary Member (a "Primary Member"). Only the Primary Member on the account may earn and redeem Sandals Select Awards Points and can accrue or redeem benefits for each qualifying stay at a Participating Resort. Each account may have a designated “Secondary Member,” who must be at least 18 years old. Only the Primary Member has the exclusive right to designate, remove or replace a Secondary Member on the account. The Secondary Member may replace the Primary Member with the Primary Member's consent, but there may only be one Primary Member on a Sandals Select Rewards account. Such requests may be made by e-mail to [email protected]. The Secondary Member may only redeem Sandals Select Awards Points on the account with approval of the Primary Member. Reservations that are not paid for by the Primary Member will not earn nights, Awards Points or count towards membership tier level.

III. TERMINATING YOUR SANDALS SELECT REWARDS ACCOUNT:

To close or cancel your Sandals Select Rewards account, the Primary Member must call the SSR Program department, at (800) NOW-4SSG. To proceed the agent will verify several details on the account including but not limited to the Primary Member’s address, email, date of birth and the last four digits of the phone number associated with the account. Once the Primary Member's identity has been verified the agent will enter the date of the call as the effective date to close or cancel the account and proceed with recording the deactivation. Verbal confirmation of the account's deactivation will be provided.

IV. MEMBERSHIP TIERS AND EARNING SANDALS SELECT AWARDS POINTS:

  1. Membership Tiers.

    There are eight membership tiers in the SSR Program. These tiers are based on the number of paid nights or total lifetime spend that the Primary Member paid for in full at a Participating Resort, as described below.

    • Member Status - No stays
    • Select Status - 1st stay (minimum of 3 nights)
    • Coral Status - 2nd stay (minimum of 3 nights)
    • Sapphire Status - 25 nights or USD$25,000 lifetime spend
    • Emerald Status - 45 nights or USD$40,000 lifetime spend
    • Diamond Status - 100 nights or USD$90,000 lifetime spend
    • Pearl Status - 250 nights or USD$220,000 lifetime spend
    • Ambassadors Club - 400 nights or USD$345,000 lifetime spend

  2. Earning Awards Points
    • Sandals Select Rewards Members will earn Sandals Select Award Points based on dollars spent on paid room reservations at Participating Resorts. Awards Points earned will be based on the web rate of the land portion of the reservation, inclusive of the air credit. This amount will be listed directly on a Member's reservation invoice. Complimentary stays, travel agent incentive bookings, barters, prizewinners, contest winners, timeshare, and auction stays are not eligible to earn Sandals Select Awards Points. Add-ons and on property purchases will not earn Award Points.
    • The Awards Points that may be earned vary depending on membership tier as follows:
      • Member Status - do not earn points;
      • Select Status - will earn 1 Award Point per 1 USD spent;
      • Coral Status - will earn 1 Award Point per 1 USD spent;
      • Sapphire Status - will earn 1.5 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
      • Emerald Status - will earn 2 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
      • Diamond Status - will earn 2.5 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
      • Pearl Status - will earn 3 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
      • Ambassadors Club - will earn 3.5 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
    • Upon enrollment into the Sandals Select Rewards Program, the Primary Member is eligible to receive 5,000 enrollment bonus Awards Points after checking in for their first Sandals or Beaches vacation at a Participating Resort and will move into the Select Tier. The amount of bonus enrollment Awards Points is subject to change at any time.
    • A Member's tier level as of the date a reservation is made will be used for the purposes of calculating Awards Points earned in connection with that reservation.
    • Members should always provide their Membership number when making a reservation at a Participating Resort to ensure nights and Awards Points are credited to the Member's account.
    • Members who do not provide their Membership number when making a reservation may, within 12 months of the check-out date of the reservation, apply to have the Awards Points applicable to that reservation credited to their account by sending a copy of the reservation voucher, resort invoice, and payment receipt with the membership number to Sandals Select Rewards at [email protected].
    • Unique Travel Corp reserves the right to adjust or correct any Awards Point values or statements printed in error. Awards Points earned that do not appear on the most recent account statement may be reflected on a future statement, provided the correct membership number is provided when making the reservation. Members are responsible for ensuring that points/nights earned are properly credited. If a Member does not receive full credit of Awards Points within 60 days of travel, the Member should send a copy of the reservation voucher, resort invoice, and payment receipt, with the membership number to Sandals Select Rewards at [email protected].
    • Sandals Select Rewards Members are only entitled to earn credit for *standard paid night and nights actually stayed at the resort. For example, if a Member missed the first night of a stay due to a flight delay, the first night would not count towards that Member’s total nights under the SSR Program, although the Member will still earn Awards Points for the first night.
      * A ‘standard paid night’ is any reservation secured without any complimentary nights being applied and/or any special discounts (e.g., nights won via a sweepstakes and/or contest or any travel advisors travelling on their stand-by rate).
    • Awards Points may only be earned for qualified stays at Participating Resorts, which are subject to change at any time.
    • Awards Points will only be credited to the Primary Member’s account, and only upon check-in based on qualifying travel at a Participating Resort.
    • Stays at Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas of Sandals are subject to a maximum earned credit of 20,000 Awards Points per stay. Nights stayed at Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villa Bookings will be counted towards the Member’s 70 paid nights (see Section V.2 below). However, Awards Points earned for Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas cannot be used to redeem for Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas bookings.
    • Sandals Select Rewards Members are not able to earn points or nights on "free night specials”. Free night specials are defined as “Free 7-Night Stay Award”, credit nights, Bank of America 3-free nights and/or any free nights received from a sweepstakes, contest and/or giveaway. Free night specials exclude value added free-night promotions.
    • In the event of a dispute concerning Awards Points, nights accrued, or membership benefits, a Member’s sole and exclusive remedy is limited to the proper posting of Awards Points and nights to the Member’s account. In no event shall the Member be entitled to claim or recover monetary damages from Unique Travel Corp or its affiliates.
    • A Travel Advisor who is enrolled as a Sandals Select Reward Member is not entitled to any Sandal Select Rewards benefits or events when traveling on Points to Paradise or non-revenue generating nights.

V. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

  1. Sandals Select Rewards Members may redeem their accrued Sandals Select Awards Points for discounts on room reservations and various awards offered by Participating Resorts from time to time. Please consult the Sandals Select website at www.sandalsselect.com for current details on specific promotions, rewards, or special offers.
  2. Upon accumulation of 70 paid nights’ accommodations by a Primary Member, a 7- night stay for two at a Participating Resort will be awarded (the “Free 7-Night Stay Award”) to that Primary Member, subject to availability and blackout dates. The Free 7-Night Stay Award will be issued via a 7-Night Stay Award Certificate. Redemption of the 7-Night Stay Award is valid for 2 adults only and may not be used for stays at Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas. Members can accumulate nights towards the Free 7- Night Stay Award with paid nights that were purchased or discounted with Sandals Select Awards Points. Once a Member receives a 7-Night Stay Award Certificate, the Member will have one (1) year from the date of issue to redeem the Free 7-Night Stay unless otherwise stated on the certificate. Free 7-Night Stay Award Certificates will be emailed to the email address that is currently on file with the SSR Program or will be handed out at the resort during the returning Member dinner or cocktail party (when scheduled). The resort and room category for the Free 7-Night Stay Award is calculated by an average of all of a Member’s stays that have made up the Member’s past 70 paid nights.
  3. Upon redemption of the Free 7-Night Stay Award, if a Member would like to upgrade or add additional nights the Member must pay the full difference in price. No additional promotions are eligible and free weeks are not eligible for the redemption of Bank of America WorldPoints, Sandals Select Rewards points, Military /IAFF/Police/FEMA/Firefighter discounts and credit nights.
  4. If a Member’s trip to redeem their Free 7 Night Stay Award is interrupted, cancelled, cut short, or otherwise needs to be rescheduled through no fault of the Member (such as COVID-19), then the Member’s sole recourse shall be a replacement credit voucher (Sandals and Beaches Vacation Assurance) towards a future stay within 12 months (subject to blackout dates).
  5. Sandals Select Rewards Members will be eligible for certain Member-only promotions which are not available to the general public. Participation in these promotions is non- transferable and must be in accordance with the rules and regulations pertaining to each specific promotion.
  6. While staying at a Participating Resort, those that qualify for Coral tier level or above will be invited to attend a weekly returning Members’ dinner or cocktail party (when scheduled).
  7. Special toll-free Member assistance numbers for customer service account information and Sandals Select Awards Points redemption are available in North America by dialing (800) NOW-4SSG and in the UK by dialing 0800 197 8946. Diamond Status and above can dial 1 (877) 678-3605. Outside of toll-free areas, dial (305) 284-1300, Ext. 4197.
  8. Newsletters, magazines, direct mail and/or emails with information on promotional campaigns, changes or additions to Participating Resorts, programs, and other events may be sent to Members on a regular basis. By enrolling in the SSR Program, each Sandals Select Rewards Member consents to being contacted by Unique Travel Corp, its affiliates and the Participating Resorts at the email address(es), telephone number(s), mobile number(s) and physical address(es) provided by the Member, including by text message, unless and until the Member contacts Unique Travel Corp to opt-out of receiving such communications.
  9. Sandals Select Rewards Members at Coral Status or higher are eligible for a discount at the participating gift shops, photo shops, and spas on select purchases and services which qualify at the time of purchase for a discount at Participating Resorts. The discount is only available during an SSR Program Member’s stay upon any visit to the participating outlets and is exclusive of any applicable taxes and gratuity for which the Member will remain responsible for. The discount does not apply to already discounted items, pharmaceuticals, sundries, and snacks. The discount at the photo shops is valid only on select photos and photo packages. The discount at the spa is valid on select services. The value of the discount varies depending on tier status as follows:
    1. Coral Status will receive 5% off eligible purchases at the participating outlets.
    2. Sapphire Status will receive 7.5% off eligible purchases at the participating outlets.
    3. Emerald Status will receive 10% off eligible purchases at the participating outlets.
    4. Diamond Status will receive 12.5% off eligible purchases at the participating outlets.
    5. Pearl Status will receive 15% off eligible purchases at the participating outlets.
    6. Ambassadors Club Status will receive 20% off eligible purchases at the participating outlets.
  10. Pearl and Ambassadors Club Members are eligible to have their Change Reservation fees waived up to a maximum of 2 times during the lifetime of the membership. Waiver is only permitted when the reservation is within the penalty period. Please note that the room rate is not protected if a change occurs outside of the penalty period. Please call 1-800-Sandals to make a request.
  11. Pearl and Ambassadors Club Members receive a complimentary cabana with cabana service for one day per stay. This benefit is based on availability and is only available at Participating Resorts that provide this service.
  12. Ambassadors Club Members are eligible for Free Private transfers. This benefit is only available at Participating Resorts and subject to availability. Please note not all islands can provide free private transfers. Please check with the Ambassadors Club concierge for details.
  13. Emerald through Diamond Status Members receive one (1) complimentary 30-minute couple’s massage per stay. Spa personnel will perform no additional complimentary services and there is no substitution for this benefit. The benefit cannot be exchanged, combined, divided or transferred. If a Member’s spouse/partner does not want to participate in the massage, the Member will receive one (1) 30-minute massage. This benefit cannot be redeemed for a 60-minute massage for one person. Applicable sales taxes (currently 12.5%) will be due upon completion of the services which will be calculated based on the current price of the massage. Service gratuity not included.
  14. Pearl through Ambassadors Club Status Members receive one (1) complimentary 60- minute couple’s massage per stay. Spa personnel will perform no additional complimentary services and there is no substitution for this benefit. The benefit cannot be exchanged, combined, divided or transferred. If a Member’s spouse/partner does not want to participate in the massage, the Member will receive one (1) 60-minute massage. This benefit cannot be redeemed for a 120-minute massage for one person. Applicable sales taxes (currently 12.5%) will be due upon completion of the services which will be calculated based on the current price of the massage. Service gratuity not included.
  15. Coral Status Members receive a one-time gift when achieving Coral tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Coral tier status, the Member will receive 250 bonus Awards Points.
  16. Sapphire Status Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Sapphire tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Sapphire tier status, the Member will receive 375 bonus Awards Points.
  17. Emerald Status Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Emerald tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Emerald tier status, the Member will receive 500 bonus Awards Points.
  18. Diamond Status Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Diamond tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Diamond tier status, the Member will receive 750 bonus Awards Points.
  19. Pearl Status Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Pearl tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Pearl tier status, the Member will receive 1,000 bonus Awards Points.
  20. Ambassadors Club Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Ambassadors Club tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Ambassadors Club tier status, the Member will receive 1,250 bonus Awards Points.
  21. For each new Ambassador Club member admitted into the Ambassador's Club, the Sandals Foundation will receive from Unique Travel Corp a one-time in kind donation of $100 at no additional cost to the Member.
  22. SSR Program benefits, vouchers and certificates are non-transferable, non- assignable, cannot be redeemed for cash or other benefits, do not carry a cash value, and cannot be offered for sale by the Member. Sandals Select Rewards Program benefits may be changed, diminished or eliminated by Unique Travel Corp at any time in its sole and absolute discretion and without recourse by Members. The applicable benefits will be those in effect at the time of a Member’s visit.
  23. Sandals Select Awards Points do not carry a redeemable cash in hand value and are not transferable. The Sandals Select Awards Point can only be applied towards a current or future reservation not paid in full.
  24. Sandals Select Rewards Program benefits, including points, vouchers and certificates, are exclusive of any applicable taxes, for which Member will remain responsible, and any applicable gratuity.
  25. Members who have achieved Coral Status or higher are eligible to advance to a higher membership tier status based on the dollar amount spent on qualifying stays or the number of paid nights stayed at the Participating Resort. Members must be a return guest under the SSR Program on their second qualifying stay at a Participating Resort to be eligible to advance to a higher membership tier.
  26. If a Member earns a higher tier, whether based on dollars spent or nights stayed, that member is eligible for all the benefits of the lower tiers with exception of the “S” Sandals branded pin from the previous/preceded tier.
  27. The provision of goods or services in connection with the SSR Program shall be subject to such terms and conditions and such booking procedures as may be established or maintained by Unique Travel Corp (or its affiliates) from time to time.

VI. AWARD REDEMPTION AND SANDALS SELECT AWARDS POINTS TRANSFER

RULES:

  1. Sandals Select Rewards Members may redeem their accrued Awards Points for discounts on room reservations (land portion only) and various awards offered by Participating Resorts from time to time. Please consult the Sandals Select website at www.sandalsselect.com for current details on specific promotions, rewards, or special offers.
  2. In order to use Sandals Select Awards Points to redeem discounts for a qualifying reservation, a Member must provide their SSR Program membership number when making the qualifying reservation at a Participating Resort. Only Sandals Select Awards Points earned for fully paid visits are eligible to be redeemed for awards and discounts if final payment for that stay has been made.
  3. Awards Points may only be redeemed for discounts of up to 50% off the total booking price which may include vacation extras added onto a qualifying reservation such as selected Red Lane Spa treatments and services, Candlelight Dinner, and selected EPIX Photo Shop packages. Awards Points discounts are not redeemable towards airfare, travel protection insurance and/or Island Routes tours.
  4. Awards Points cannot be used towards a reservation deposit. All Members redeeming points must pay the required deposit to secure their reservation. Deposit amounts may vary by region and travel dates.
  5. Sandals Select Awards Points may be redeemed by booking a vacation at a Participating Resort by visiting the on-property Loyalty & Travel Lounges, sandals.com, beaches.com or by calling 1-800-NOW-4SSG or 1-800-SANDALS, 1- 800-BEACHES. UK residents may call 0800-197-8946.
  6. SSR Program and Group Bookings: Returning guests can earn Awards Points on their reservation made as part of a group reservation with the exception of incentive groups. Incentive groups (and participants of such groups) do not qualify and are not able to earn or redeem Awards Points in connection with their group reservation. Members of incentive groups can enroll in the Sandals Select Rewards Program but are not entitled to earn Awards Points or benefits from the incentive group stay.
    • The Primary Member who makes an incentive or social group booking may earn points and nights for up to three (3) rooms within each calendar year in which they are not an occupant, provided the Primary Member is fully financially responsible for the reservation. The SSR Program will require the following documentation in order to process this request:
      1. Proof that the Primary Member paid for the rooms in the form of a copy of the credit card statement or cancelled check;
      2. A signed letter from the adult guest who stayed in the room agreeing that the Awards Points belong to the said Primary Member with a copy of the adult guest’s Driver's License or the letter must be notarized;
      3. SSR Program membership numbers may be added to the reservation at any time but will only get the credit for the stay within 12 months after they have checked out.
    • Sandals Select Awards Points cannot be redeemed towards Group bookings (10 or more rooms).
    • Group reservations which receive the “book 5 rooms get 1 free” or “book 11 rooms get 1 free” promotions are not eligible for nights/points to be added to the Sandals Select Rewards account."
  7. Sandals Select Awards Points may be combined with some national and regional promotional rates for additional savings to a reservation at time of booking, and a Member will be advised by the reservation agent of the total price and corresponding savings. Certain promotional rates may exclude the use of Awards Points to obtain further discounts or rewards. Please consult with the reservations center for more information about use of Awards Points for each booking.
  8. There may not be more than one account per household and not more than one Primary Member per account. Awards Points earned in two different accounts may not be combined to redeem any award or discount, except in the event of marriage. Married couples will be required to combine their Awards Points into one account and to designate one Primary Member. If a Member is incorrectly assigned more than one SSR Program account number, they must call the Sandals Select Rewards Department @ 1-800-NOW-4SSG to have the accounts merged.
  9. The Primary Member may earn points and nights for up to three (3) rooms within each calendar year in which they are not an occupant. The Primary Member must be fully financially responsible for the booking and must provide the following information:
    • Signed letter releasing the nights from the adult guests who stayed in the room with a copy of their valid ID (as in Passport or Drivers' Licenses), or the letter must be notarized; and
    • Documentation reflecting that the Primary Member paid for the booking.
  10. All Awards Points earned by a Primary Member may only be deposited into the Primary Member's Sandals Select Rewards Account, except only as otherwise specifically set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
  11. Sandals Select Rewards Accounts and Awards Points are generally non-assignable and non-transferable, except that following the death of the Primary Member, Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, honor a properly and timely submitted request to designate the Secondary Member as the new Primary Member on the Sandals Select Rewards Account of a deceased Primary Member, or to transfer the Awards Points on such an account (where applicable), in the limited circumstances and on the terms set forth below:
    • If at the time of the Primary Member’s death there is a Secondary Member on the Sandals Select Rewards Account, then the Secondary Member may request to become the Primary Member on the Sandals Select Rewards Account within 24 months of the death of the Primary Member using this fully completed Form sent by e-mail to [email protected] along with documentation legally substantiating the death of the Primary Member, such as an authenticated copy of an official death certificate. A request from a Secondary Member to become the new Primary Member on the Sandals Select Rewards Account of a deceased Primary Member will take precedence over a competing request from a Designated Family Member or any of the deceased Primary Member’s family members or A final decision on the request is at Unique Travel Corp’s sole and absolute discretion. A Secondary Member shall not become the Primary Member unless and until such time as Unique Travel Corp approves the request.
    • If at the time of the Primary Member’s death there is no Secondary Member available to become the Primary Member, then Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, honor a previously-submitted written request from the Primary Member during his or her lifetime requesting that a specific child or family member who is at least 18 years old (“Designated Family Member”) receive the Awards Points in the deceased Primary Member’s Sandals Select Rewards Account. Such a request must be made in writing using this fully completed Form and sent by e-mail to [email protected]. Any Secondary Member must also sign this form consenting to the requested transfer upon the Primary Member’s death if the Secondary Member is unavailable to become the Primary Member. To request the deceased Primary Member’s Awards Points, the Designated Family Member must submit a written request within 24 months after the death of the Primary Member using this fully completed Form which must be sent via e-mail to [email protected] along with documentation legally substantiating: (a) the death of the Primary Member, such as an authenticated copy of an official death certificate; (b) the unavailability of any Secondary Member on the account to become the Primary Member; (c) the familial relationship between the Designated Family Member and the deceased Primary Member; and (d) any other information requested by Unique Travel Corp, in its sole and absolute discretion The Designated Family Member must open their own Sandals Select Rewards Account prior to submitting a request to receive the Awards Points. A request from a Designated Family Member seeking the Awards Points of the deceased Primary Member will take precedence over a competing request from any of the deceased Primary Member’s family members or beneficiaries who was not a Designated Family Member. A final decision on the request is at Unique Travel Corp’s sole and absolute discretion. A Designated Family Member shall not receive the Primary Member’s Awards Points unless and until such time as Unique Travel Corp approves the request.
    • If at the time of the Primary Member’s death there is no Secondary Member or Designated Family Member on the deceased Primary Member’s Sandals Select Rewards Account, then Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, honor a written request from a child of the deceased Primary Member who is at least 18 years old (“Adult Child”) to receive a transfer of the Awards Points of the deceased Primary Member’s Sandals Select Rewards Account. To request the deceased Primary Member’s Awards Points, the Adult Child must submit a written request within 24 months after the death of the Primary Member using this fully completed Form which must be sent via e-mail to [email protected] along with documentation legally substantiating: (a) the death of the Primary Member, such as an authenticated copy of an official death certificate; (b) the unavailability of any Secondary Member on the account to become the Primary Member; (c) the familial relationship between the Adult Child and the deceased Primary Member; and (d) any other information requested by Unique Travel Corp, in its sole and absolute discretion. The Adult Child must open their own Sandals Select Rewards Account prior to submitting a request to receive the Awards Points. A final decision on the request is at Unique Travel Corp’s sole and absolute discretion. An Adult Child shall not receive the Primary Member’s Awards Points unless and until such time as Unique Travel Corp approves the request.
  12. Sandals may honor a decree or order of competent jurisdiction concerning ownership or control of the Awards Points or Sandals Select Rewards account.
  13. In the event of competing or conflicting claims or requests concerning control, entitlement, or transfer of a Sandals Select Rewards Account or its Awards Points, Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, suspend the Sandals Select Rewards Account until the dispute is legally resolved to its satisfaction or close the Sandals Select Rewards Account and void any Awards Points.

VII. EXPIRATION OF AWARDS POINTS:

  1. Awards Points will expire if a Primary Member does not make a reservation at a Participating Resort within three years from the check-out date of their last qualified stay or fully paid qualified booking, using their SSR programs membership number. A Member can avoid having Awards Points expire by making a qualified reservation before the end of the three-year period even if the travel dates are outside of the three- year period (as long the reservation is not canceled).
  2. Members are responsible for ensuring that they add their membership number to their reservation. If a Member has an ‘active’ qualified reservation but did not ensure that their membership number was added to their ‘active’ qualified reservation prior to their Awards Points expiring can call the SSR programs Department 1-800-NOW-4SSG (1- 800-669-4774) to request a reinstatement of their Award’s Points. The Awards Points will only be reinstated by providing a copy of your reservation voucher, resort invoice and payment receipt for a full review by the SSR programs Department to ensure that the reservation qualifies for the Member’s Awards Points to be reinstated.
  3. If a Member books a qualified reservation within thirty (30) days of the expiration of their Awards Points, the Member should call the SSR programs Department (1-800- NOW-4SSG (1-800-669-4774)) to request to have 100% of their Awards Points reinstated.
  4. If a Member books a qualified reservation between 31 and 90 days after the expiration of their Awards Points, the Member will only be eligible to have 50% of their Awards Points reinstated. The Member should call the SSR programs Department 1-800-NOW- 4SSG (1-800-669-4774) to speak with a representative.
  5. If a Member’s account has expired 91 days or more, that Member will not be eligible to have their expired Awards Points reinstated. Exceptions to this rule are only considered or granted on a case-by-case basis after a full review of the circumstances.   6. Important Note: Members are responsible for ensuring that they add their membership number to their reservation. Members are also responsible for ensuring that points/nights earned are properly credited. In the event a Member believes that Awards Points have not been properly credited 60 days after qualifying travel, the Member must send a copy of their reservation voucher, resort invoice in question, and payment receipt with their membership number to the Sandals Select Rewards department within 12 months of travel.

VIII. RESPONSIBILITY:

  1. Unique Travel Corp, the Participating Resorts, their hotels, owners and management companies, SSR programs partners, and all subsidiaries and/or affiliated companies and resorts, and respective officers, directors, and employees of same (“ SSR Parties ”) are not, and shall not be, liable for any loss or injury, including death, damage, accident, delay, irregularity or expense arising from or relating to a person’s participation in the SSR programs, the accumulation, use or redemption of any Awards Points or SSR programs benefits, any changes to the SSR programs or its available benefits, and/or the cancellation of the SSR programs. By participating in the SSR programs, each Member fully waives and disclaims all monetary damages against the SSR Parties for any errors or omissions, including by negligence or recklessness of the SSR Parties, arising from or relating to the SSR programs or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. If Unique Travel Corp or any of the SSR Parties is prevented, hindered or delayed in performing any of its obligations under the SSR programs by force majeure (which means any event or circumstances outside of its reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, interruptions to travel, epidemics, pandemics, such as COVID-19 and any variant, terrorist attacks, wars, civil commotions, riots, armed conflicts, or threat of or preparation for any of these, impositions of sanctions, embargos, or breaking off of diplomatic relations, actions by a government or public authority, any labour or trade disputes, strikes, industrial actions, or any illnesses), Unique Travel Corp and the SSR Parties shall not be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or otherwise liable for any such failure or delay in the performance of their obligations under the SSR programs, and all such obligations shall be deemed excused.
  3. The decisions of Unique Travel Corp regarding all matters concerning the SSR programs and the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions are final and binding. Unique Travel Corp reserves the right to deny or revoke Sandals Select Awards Points, any night credit or any benefit at any time in its sole and absolute discretion if it is determined that points/nights/benefit were improperly or incorrectly given or rewarded.
  4. In the event of a dispute between a Member and Unique Travel Corp or any of the SSR Parties concerning Awards Points, nights accrued, or membership benefits, a Member’s sole and exclusive remedy is limited to having the correct amount of Awards Points, nights or other benefits (or other comparable benefit) posted to the Member’s SSR programs account. In no event shall a Member, or anyone claiming through a Member, be entitled to recover monetary damages from Unique Travel Corp or any of the SSR Parties, including any direct, indirect, consequential, special, lost profit, or punitive damages, for any action or inaction arising from or relating to the SSR programs or a breach of, or noncompliance with, these Terms and Conditions.

IX. PRIVACY POLICY:

The personal information collected within the SSR programs shall be treated and maintained in accordance with the privacy policy of the Participating Resorts available at https://www.sandals.com/privacy-policy/ or beaches.com/general/privacy/ before submitting any personal information.

To request an erasure/deletion of all personal information or personal data within your Sandals Select Rewards Account, the Primary Member must close or cancel their Sandals Select Rewards account in accordance with section III above. Upon the verification and verbal confirmation that the Member’s account has been closed or cancelled, please send an erasure/deletion of personal information or personal data request to [email protected] and all personal information or personal data shall be removed in accordance with the terms and conditions of “How long will we retain your information?” in each Participating Resorts privacy policy listed above.

X. GENERAL MEMBERSHIP RULES:

  1. Membership in the SSR programs is free and is available only to individuals residing in countries that legally permit participation in frequent stay programs. Employees of Unique Travel Corp and its affiliates, Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts and Grand Pineapple Resorts, and their subsidiaries and affiliates are not eligible to participate in the SSR programs. Travel industry professionals booking at industry discount rates are not eligible to participate in the SSR programs. Participation in the SSR programs is void where prohibited.
  2. Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, suspend or terminate any Member’s participation in the SSR programs, which may result in a Member forfeiting and losing all accumulated Awards Points, tier status, other benefits, and pending reservations at Participating Resorts if Unique Travel Corp determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that a Member has engaged in conduct that: (a) is inconsistent with local, state, provincial or federal laws or ordinances while participating in the SSR programs or staying at any Participating Resorts; (b) has endangered the life, safety or well-being of other guests or employees at the Participating Resorts; (c) violates the applicable rules of conduct, or causes a disturbance, at Participating Resorts during a stay; (d) results in the Member being asked by management to leave a Participating Resort; (e) is fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive in connection with the accumulation or use of Awards Points or other SSR programs membership privileges or benefits; (f) violates the intellectual property rights of Unique Travel Corp or the Participating Resorts; (g) causes financial loss to Unique Travel Corp or the Participating Resorts, including the failure to timely pay a valid invoice or account in connection with a reservation or stay at Participating Resorts and also including fraudulent credit card activity; (h) violates the Travel Agent Code of conduct, as applicable; (i) constitutes solicitation or unsolicited marketing of guests at a Participating Resort; (j) violates the privacy rights of guests at Participating Resorts, such as taking videos or pictures of guests or using their personal information without their informed consent; or (k) is detrimental to the business or operations of Unique Travel Corp, its affiliates or the Participating Resorts. Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall limit Unique Travel Corp in the exercise of any and all available legal or equitable right or remedies.
  3. Members are responsible for notifying Sandals Select customer service of their Sandals Select membership number at the time of making any booking for a qualifying stay. Earning and redemption of Awards Points are subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Sandals Select benefits and Awards Points may be subject to income or other taxes. All taxes and all disclosures related thereto are the sole responsibility of the Member.
  4. Neither Unique Travel Corp, its affiliates or the Participating Resorts nor their SSR programs partners are responsible for requests or correspondence lost or delayed in the mail. Unique Travel Corp is not responsible for, and reserves the right to correct, any pricing or typographical errors, errors of description, or errors regarding participating properties and partners.
  5. Each Member is responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to the Rules, these Terms and Conditions and as to the number of Awards Points and nights in their account. Unique Travel Corp or its authorized affiliates will attempt to send correspondence to Members to advise them of matters of interest and any changes to the SSR programs. However, Unique Travel Corp and its affiliates will not be liable for any failure to do so or for any other error of communication or equipment.
  6. Each Member is responsible for advising the Sandals Select Rewards department of any change of address or revision of personal profile data.
  7. A Member requesting a name change to his/her account must provide the Sandals Select Rewards Department with a formal request in writing accompanied by a certified legal document as proof of the name change.
  8. The sale, offer for sale, transfer, assignment or barter of any Awards Points, Award Certificates or other SSR programs benefits by any SSR Member (other than by Unique Travel Corp or its authorized affiliates) is strictly prohibited and may result in forfeiture, termination or cancellation of the benefits, credit or membership.
  9. These Terms and Conditions supersede all prior rules and regulations of Sandals UltraClub and the Signature Guest programs.
  10. Unique Travel Corp expressly disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties or conditions of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to, negligence or recklessness, shall the Participating Resorts, their hotels, owners, management companies or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the SSR programs or any such other products or services, even if the Participating Resorts have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  11. Our affiliate entity Unique Caribbean Holidays Ltd is a member of ABTA. ABTA operates an arbitration programs that is available to customers of ABTA members in respects of certain disputes that fall within the scope of the scheme. The arbitration scheme is accessed through ABTA’s Alternative Dispute Resolution process. If a Member cannot resolve a complaint with Unique Caribbean Holidays Ltd, a Member can obtain more information about the ABTA arbitration programs and ABTA’s Alternative Dispute Resolution process at abta.com.
  12. These Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith or in connection with its formation) shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama without regard to the choice of law principles thereof and shall be litigated solely and exclusively in Panama.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SANDALS SELECT REWARDS MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

These Terms and Conditions supersede and replace entirely any previous Terms & Conditions that may have been published on this website previously. It is important to read and understand these Terms and Conditions in force for becoming a Member and/or continued participation as a Member in the Sandals Select Rewards Membership Program.

The Sandals® Select Rewards Membership Program (the “SSR Program”) was conceived and developed exclusively for guests of participating Sandals and Beaches Resorts (the “Participating Resorts”). The SSR Program rewards participating members (“Sandals Select Rewards Members” or “Members”) for their loyalty to Sandals and Beaches Resorts by offering unique benefits to make every stay at our family of resorts even more memorable. Unique Travel Corp, the exclusive worldwide representative of Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas, established the Terms and Conditions herein which shall govern membership, benefits and usage of “Sandals Select Awards Points” or “Awards Points” (as defined herein) and redemption in the SSR Program.

I. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS:

Unique Travel Corp reserves the right to modify, change, alter or terminate the SSR Program at any time, without notice at our sole discretion by posting any such changes on www.sandalsselect.com/terms. Your continued participation in the SSR Program following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the changes. Unique Travel Corp will send Members residing in Quebec, Canada only, a written notice of the modifications, changes or termination within 90 to 60 days, prior to the effective date of each modification and change, setting out the amended terms and the date of coming into force of the modification or amendment, or of the termination of the SSR Program. Sandals Select Rewards Members should check all applicable Terms and Conditions periodically for changes by visiting www.sandalsselect.com/terms. CChanges may affect, but are not limited to, partner affiliations, rules for earning Sandals Select Awards Points and nights, Sandals Select Awards Points redemption levels required for specific awards, rules for the use of Awards Points, continued availability of awards, award inventory, award types, and certain features of special offers. The accumulation of Sandals Select Awards Points does not entitle Sandals Select Rewards Members to any vested rights with respect to any points, awards or program benefits. In the event of termination of the SSR Program, Sandals Select Awards Points shall be forfeited to the Participating Resorts without remuneration or any further obligation or liability to Members, and no award claims shall be honored thereafter.

The Awards Points, awards, membership tier status, membership benefits, and other aspects of a Sandals Select Rewards account do not constitute property or a property interest, have no intrinsic monetary value, and may not be converted into money. The Awards Points, awards, membership tier status, membership benefits, and other aspects of a Sandals Select Rewards account may not be transferred, assigned, divided, or conveyed, whether by agreement, order, operation of law, divorce, inheritance, or bankruptcy, except only that Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, honor properly and timely submitted requests in the manner provided in these Terms and Conditions and consistent herewith.

II. SIGNING UP FOR MEMBERSHIP:

A person must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in the SSR Program. There is a limit of one Sandals Select Rewards account per household and each Sandals Select Rewards account must have a primary Member (a “Primary Member”). Only the Primary Member on the account may earn and redeem Sandals Select Awards Points and can accrue or redeem benefits for each qualifying stay at a Participating Resort. Each account may have a designated “Secondary Member,” who must be at least 18 years old. Only the Primary Member has the exclusive right to designate, remove or replace a Secondary Member on the account. The Secondary Member may replace the Primary Member with the Primary Member’s consent, but there may only be one Primary Member on a Sandals Select Rewards account. Such requests may be made by e-mail to [email protected]. The Secondary Member may only redeem Sandals Select Awards Points on the account with approval of the Primary Member. Reservations that are not paid for by the Primary Member will not earn nights, Awards Points or count towards membership tier level.

III. TERMINATING YOUR SANDALS SELECT REWARDS ACCOUNT:

To close or cancel your Sandals Select Rewards account, the Primary Member must call the SSR Program department, at (800) NOW-4SSG. To proceed the agent will verify several details on the account including but not limited to the Primary Member’s address, email, date of birth and the last four digits of the phone number associated with the account. Once the Primary Member’s identity has been verified the agent will enter the date of the call as the effective date to close or cancel the account and proceed with recording the deactivation. Verbal confirmation of the account’s deactivation will be provided.

IV. MEMBERSHIP TIERS AND EARNING SANDALS SELECT AWARDS POINTS:

  1. Membership Tiers.

    There are eight membership tiers in the SSR Program. These tiers are based on the number of paid nights or total lifetime spend that the Primary Member paid for in full at a Participating Resort, as described below.

    • Member Status - No stays
    • Select Status - 1st stay (minimum of 3 nights)
    • Coral Status - 2nd stay (minimum of 3 nights)
    • Sapphire Status - 25 nights or USD$25,000 lifetime spend
    • Emerald Status - 45 nights or USD$40,000 lifetime spend
    • Diamond Status - 100 nights or USD$90,000 lifetime spend
    • Pearl Status - 250 nights or USD$220,000 lifetime spend
    • Ambassadors Club - 400 nights or USD$345,000 lifetime spend
  2. Earning Awards Points
    • Sandals Select Rewards Members will earn Sandals Select Awards Points based on dollars spent on paid room reservations at Participating Resorts. Awards Points earned will be based on the web rate of the land portion of the reservation, inclusive of the air credit. This amount will be listed directly on a Member’s reservation invoice. Complimentary stays, travel agent incentive bookings, barters, prizewinners, contest winners, timeshare, and auction stays are not eligible to earn Sandals Select Awards Points. Add-ons and on property purchases will not earn Awards Points.
    • The Awards Points that may be earned vary depending on Membership Tier as follows:
      • Member Status - do not earn points;
      • Select Status - will earn 1 Awards Point per 1 USD spent;
      • Coral Status - will earn 1 Awards Point per 1 USD spent;
      • Sapphire Status - will earn 1.5 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
      • Emerald Status - will earn 2 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
      • Diamond Status - will earn 2.5 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
      • Pearl Status - will earn 3 Awards Points per 1 USD spent;
      • Ambassadors Club - will earn 3.5 Awards Points per 1 USD spent.
    • Upon enrollment into the Sandals Select Rewards Program, the Primary Member is eligible to receive 5,000 enrollment bonus Awards Points after checking in for their first Sandals or Beaches vacation at a Participating Resort and will move into the Select Tier. The amount of bonus enrollment Awards Points is subject to change at any time.
    • A Member’s tier level as of the date a reservation is made will be used for the purposes of calculating Awards Points earned in connection with that reservation.
    • Members should always provide their membership number when making a reservation at a Participating Resort to ensure nights and Awards Points are credited to the Member’s account.
    • Members who do not provide a membership number when making a reservation may, within 12 months of the check-out date of the reservation, apply to have the Awards Points applicable to that reservation credited to their account by sending a copy of the reservation voucher, resort invoice, and payment receipt with the membership number to Sandals Select Rewards at [email protected].
    • Unique Travel Corp reserves the right to adjust or correct any Awards Point values or statements printed in error. Awards Points earned that do not appear on the most recent account statement may be reflected on a future statement, provided the correct membership number is provided when making the reservation. Members are responsible for ensuring that points/nights earned are properly credited. If a Member does not receive full credit of Awards Points within 60 days of travel, the Member should send a copy of the reservation voucher, resort invoice, and payment receipt, with the membership number to Sandals Select Rewards at [email protected].
    • Sandals Select Rewards Members are only entitled to earn credit for *standard paid night and nights actually stayed at the resort. For example, if a Member missed the first night of a stay due to a flight delay, the first night would not count towards that Member’s total nights under the SSR Program, although the Member will still earn Awards Points for the first night.

      * A ‘standard paid night’ is any reservation secured without any complimentary nights being applied and/or any special discounts (e.g., nights won via a sweepstakes and/or contest or any travel advisors travelling on their stand-by rate).

    • Awards Points may only be earned for qualified stays at Participating Resorts, which are subject to change at any time.
    • Awards Points will only be credited to the Primary Member’s account, and only upon check-in based on qualifying travel at a Participating Resort.
    • Stays at Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas of Sandals are subject to a maximum earned credit of 20,000 Awards Points per stay. Nights stayed at Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villa Bookings will be counted towards the Member’s 70 paid nights (see section V.2 below). However, Awards Points earned for Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas cannot be used to redeem for Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas bookings. Stays at Fowl Cay and Your Jamaican Villas are not redeemable as part the 70 paid nights free week program.
    • Sandals Select Rewards Members are not able to earn points or nights on "free night specials”. Free night specials are defined as “Free 7-Night Stay Award”, credit nights, Bank of America 3-free nights and/or any free nights received from a sweepstakes, contest and/or giveaway. Free night specials exclude value added free-night promotions.
    • [Not applicable to Members residing in Quebec Canada.] In the event of a dispute concerning Awards Points, nights accrued, or membership benefits, a Member’s sole and exclusive remedy is limited to the proper posting of Awards Points and nights to the Member’s account. In no event shall the Member be entitled to claim or recover monetary damages from Unique Travel Corp or its affiliates.
    • A Travel Advisor who is enrolled as a Sandals Select Reward Member is not entitled to any Sandal Select Rewards benefits or events when traveling on Points to Paradise or non-revenue generating nights.

V. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

  1. Sandals Select Rewards Members may redeem their accrued Sandals Select Awards Points for discounts on room reservations and various awards offered by Participating Resorts from time to time. Please consult the Sandals Select website at www.sandalsselect.com for current details on specific promotions, rewards, or special offers.
  2. Upon accumulation of 70 paid nights’ accommodations by a Primary Member, a 7-night stay for two at a Participating Resort will be awarded (the “Free 7-Night Stay Award”) to that Primary Member, subject to availability and blackout dates. The Free 7-Night Stay Award will be issued via a 7-Night Stay Award Certificate. Redemption of the 7-Night Stay Award is valid for 2 adults only. Members can accumulate nights towards the Free 7- Night Stay Award with paid nights that were purchased or discounted with Sandals Select Awards Points. Once a Member receives a 7-Night Stay Award Certificate, the Member will have one (1) year from the date of issue to redeem the Free 7-Night Stay unless otherwise stated on the certificate. Free 7-Night Stay Award Certificates will be emailed to the email address that is currently on file with the SSR Program or will be handed out at the resort during the returning Member dinner or cocktail party (when scheduled). The resort and room category for the Free 7-Night Stay Award is calculated by an average of all of a Member’s stays that have made up the Member’s past 70 paid nights.
  3. Upon redemption of the Free 7-Night Stay Award, if a Member would like to upgrade or add additional nights the Member must pay the full difference in price. No additional promotions are eligible and free weeks are not eligible for the redemption of Bank of America WorldPoints, Sandals Select Rewards points, Military /IAFF/Police/FEMA/Firefighter discounts and credit nights.
  4. If a Member is traveling during their Free 7-Night Stay Award and the Member’s trip is interrupted, cancelled, cut short, or otherwise needs to be rescheduled through no fault of the Member (such as COVID-19), then the Member’s sole recourse shall be a replacement credit voucher (Sandals and Beaches Vacation Assurance) towards a future stay within 12 months (subject to blackout dates).
  5. Sandals Select Rewards Members will be eligible for certain Member-only promotions which are not available to the general public. Participation in these promotions is non- transferable and must be in accordance with the rules and regulations pertaining to each specific promotion.
  6. While staying at a Participating Resort, those that qualify for Coral tier level or above will be invited to attend a weekly returning Members’ dinner or cocktail party (when scheduled).
  7. Special toll-free Member assistance numbers for customer service account information and Sandals Select Awards Points redemption are available in North America by dialing (800) NOW-4SSG and in the UK by dialing 0800 197 8946. Diamond Status and above can dial 1 (877) 678-3605. Outside of toll-free areas, dial (305) 284-1300, Ext. 4197.
  8. Newsletters, magazines, direct mail and/or emails with information on promotional campaigns, changes or additions to Participating Resorts, programs and other events may be sent to Members on a regular basis. By enrolling in the SSR Program, each Sandals Select Rewards Member consents to being contacted by Unique Travel Corp, its affiliates and the Participating Resorts at the email address(es), telephone number(s), mobile number(s) and physical address(es) provided by the Member, including by text message, unless and until the Member contacts Unique Travel Corp to opt-out of receiving such communications.
  9. Sandals Select Rewards Members at Coral Status or higher are eligible for a discount at the participating gift shops, photo shops and spas on select purchases and services which qualify at the time of purchase for a discount at Participating Resorts. The discount is only available during a SSR Program Member’s stay upon any visit to the participating outlets and is exclusive of any applicable taxes and gratuity for which the Member will remain responsible for. The discount does not apply to already discounted items, pharmaceuticals, sundries, and snacks. The discount at the photo shop is valid only on select photos and photo packages. The discount at the spa is valid on select services. The value of the discount varies depending on tier status as follows:
    • Coral Status will receive 5% off eligible purchases at the participating outlets;
    • Sapphire Status will receive 7.5% off eligible purchases at the participating outlets;

  10. Pearl and Ambassadors Club Members are eligible to have their Change Reservation fees waived up to a maximum of 2 times during the lifetime of the membership. Waiver is only permitted when reservation is within the penalty period. Please note that the room rate is not protected if a change occurs outside of the penalty period.   16. Sapphire Status Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Sapphire tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Sapphire tier status, the Member will receive 375 bonus Awards Points.
  17. Emerald Status Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Emerald tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Emerald tier status, the Member will receive 500 bonus Awards Points.
  18. Diamond Status Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Diamond tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Diamond tier status, the Member will receive 750 bonus Awards Points.
  19. Pearl Status Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Pearl tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Pearl tier status, the Member will receive 1,000 bonus Awards Points.
  20. Ambassadors Club Members receive a one-time gift and an “S” Sandals branded pin when achieving Ambassadors Club tier status. For each subsequent reservation made after achieving Ambassadors Club tier status, the Member will receive 1,250 bonus Awards Points.
  21. For each new Ambassador Club member admitted into the Ambassador's Club, the Sandals Foundation will receive a one-time $100 donation (which may be in kind) at no additional cost to the Member.
  22. SSR Program benefits, vouchers and certificates are non-transferable, non-assignable, cannot be redeemed for cash or other benefits, do not carry a cash value, and cannot be offered for sale by the Member. Sandals Select Rewards Program benefits may be changed, diminished or eliminated by Unique Travel Corp at any time in its sole and absolute discretion and without recourse by Members. The applicable benefits will be those in effect at the time of a Member’s visit.
  23. Sandals Select Awards Points do not carry a redeemable cash in hand value and are not transferable. The Sandals Select Awards Point can only be applied towards a current or future reservation not paid in full.
  24. Sandals Select Rewards Program benefits, including points, vouchers and certificates, are exclusive of any applicable taxes, for which Member will remain responsible, and any applicable gratuity.
  25. Members who have achieved Coral Status or higher are eligible to advance to a higher membership tier status based on the dollar amount spent on qualifying stays or the number of paid nights stayed at the Participating Resort. Members must be a return guest under the SSR Program on their second qualifying stay at a Participating Resort to be eligible to advance to a higher membership tier.
  26. If a Member earns a higher tier, whether based on dollars spent or nights stayed, that member is eligible for all the benefits of the lower tiers with exception of the “S” Sandals branded pin from the previous/preceded tier.
  27. The provision of goods or services in connection with the SSR Program shall be subject to such terms and conditions and such booking procedures as may be established or maintained by Unique Travel Corp (or its affiliates) from time to time.

VI. AWARD REDEMPTION AND SANDALS SELECT AWARDS POINTS TRANSFER RULES:

  1. Sandals Select Rewards Members may redeem their accrued Awards Points for discounts on room reservations (land portion only) and various awards offered by Participating Resorts from time to time. Please consult the Sandals Select website at www.sandalsselect.com for current details on specific promotions, rewards, or special offers.
  2. In order to use Sandals Select Awards Points to redeem discounts for a qualifying reservation, a Member must provide their SSR Program membership number when making the qualifying reservation at a Participating Resort. Only Sandals Select Awards Points earned for fully paid visits are eligible to be redeemed for awards and discounts if final payment for that stay has been made.
  3. Awards Points may only be redeemed for discounts of up to 50% off the total booking price which may include vacation extras added onto a qualifying reservation such as selected Red Lane Spa treatments and services, Candlelight Dinner, and selected EPIX Photo Shop packages. Awards Points discounts are not redeemable towards airfare, travel protection insurance and/or Island Routes tours.
  4. Awards Points cannot be used towards a reservation deposit. All Members redeeming points must pay the required deposit to secure their reservation. Deposit amounts may vary by region and travel dates.
  5. Sandals Select Awards Points may be redeemed by booking a vacation at a Participating Resort by visiting the on-property Loyalty & Travel Lounges, sandals.com, beaches.com or by calling 1-800-NOW-4SSG or 1-800-SANDALS, 1-800-BEACHES. UK residents may call 0800-197-8946.
  6. SSR Program and Group Bookings: Returning guests can earn Awards Points on their reservation made as part of a group reservation with the exception of incentive groups. Incentive groups (and participants of such groups) do not qualify and are not able to earn or redeem Awards Points in connection with their group reservation. Members of incentive groups can enroll in the Sandals Select Rewards Program but are not entitled to earn Awards Points or benefits from the incentive group stay.
    • The Primary Member who makes an incentive or social group booking may earn points and nights for up to three (3) rooms within each calendar year in which they are not an occupant, provided the Primary Member is fully financially responsible for the reservation. The SSR Program will require the following documentation in order to process this request:
      • Proof that the Primary Member paid for the rooms in the form of a copy of the credit card statement or cancelled check;
      • A signed letter from the adult guest who stayed in the room agreeing that the Awards Points belong to the said Primary Member with a copy of the adult guest’s Driver's License or the letter must be notarized;
      • SSR Program membership numbers may be added to the reservation at any time but will only get the credit for the stay within 12 months after they have checked out.
    • Sandals Select Awards Points cannot be redeemed towards Group bookings (10 or more rooms).
    • Group reservations which receive the “book 5 rooms get 1 free” or “book 11 rooms get 1 free” promotions are not eligible for nights/points to be added to the Sandals Select Rewards account."
  7. Sandals Select Awards Points may be combined with some national and regional promotional rates for additional savings to a reservation at time of booking, and a Member will be advised by the reservation agent of the total price and corresponding savings. Certain promotional rates may exclude the use of Awards Points to obtain further discounts or rewards. Please consult with the reservations center for more information about use of Awards Points for each booking.
  8. A Member cannot have more than one account per household and cannot have more than one Primary Member per account. Awards Points earned in two different accounts may not be combined to redeem any award or discount, except in the event of marriage. Married couples will be required to combine their Awards Points into one account and to designate one Primary Member. If a Member is incorrectly assigned more than one SSR Program account number, they must call the Sandals Select Rewards Department @ 1-800-NOW- 4SSG to have the accounts merged.
  9. The Primary Member may earn points and nights for up to three (3) rooms within each calendar year in which they are not an occupant. The Primary Member must be fully financially responsible for the booking and must provide the following information:
    • Signed letter releasing the nights from the adult guests who stayed in the room with a copy of their valid ID (as in Passport or Drivers' Licenses), or the letter must be notarized; and
    • Documentation reflecting that the Primary Member paid for the booking.
  10. All Awards Points earned by a Primary Member may only be deposited into the Primary Member's Sandals Select Rewards Account, except only as otherwise specifically set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
  11. Sandals Select Rewards Accounts and Awards Points are generally non-assignable and non-transferable, except that following the death of the Primary Member, Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, honor a properly and timely submitted request to designate the Secondary Member as the new Primary Member on the Sandals Select Rewards Account of a deceased Primary Member, or to transfer the Awards Points on such an account (where applicable), in the limited circumstances and on the terms set forth below:
    • If at the time of the Primary Member’s death there is a Secondary Member on the Sandals Select Rewards Account, then the Secondary Member shall become the Primary Member on the Sandals Select Rewards Account, provided a request is submitted within 24 months of the death of the Primary Member using this fully completed Form sent by e-mail to [email protected] along with documentation legally substantiating the death of the Primary Member, such as an authenticated copy of an official death certificate. A request from a Secondary Member to become the new Primary Member on the Sandals Select Rewards Account of a deceased Primary Member will take precedence over a competing request from a Designated Family Member or any of the deceased Primary Member’s family members or beneficiaries to receive the Awards Points.
    • If at the time of the Primary Member’s death there is no Secondary Member available to become the Primary Member, then Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, honor a previously-submitted written request from the Primary Member during his or her lifetime requesting that a specific child or family member who is at least 18 years old (“Designated Family Member”) eceive the Awards Points in the deceased Primary Member’s Sandals Select Rewards Account. Such a request must be made in writing using this fully completed Form and sent by e-mail to [email protected]. Any Secondary Member must also sign this form consenting to the requested transfer upon the Primary Member’s death if the Secondary Member is unavailable to become the Primary Member. To receive the deceased Primary Member’s Awards Points, the Designated Family Member must submit a written request within 24 months after the death of the Primary Member using this fully completed Form which must be sent via e-mail to [email protected] along with documentation legally substantiating: (a) the death of the Primary Member, such as an authenticated copy of an official death certificate; (b) the unavailability of any Secondary Member on the account to become the Primary Member; (c) the familial relationship between the Designated Family Member and the deceased Primary Member; and (d) any other information requested by Unique Travel Corp, in its sole and absolute discretion. The Designated Family Member must open their own Sandals Select Rewards Account prior to submitting a request to receive the Awards Points. A request from a Designated Family Member seeking the Awards Points of the deceased Primary Member will take precedence over a competing request from any of the deceased Primary Member’s family members or beneficiaries who was not a Designated Family Member.
    • If at the time of the Primary Member’s death there is no Secondary Member or Designated Family Member on the deceased Primary Member’s Sandals Select Rewards Account, then Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, honor a written request from a child of the deceased Primary Member who is at least 18 years old (“Adult Child”) o receive a transfer of the Awards Points of the deceased Primary Member’s Sandals Select Rewards Account. To receive the deceased Primary Member’s Awards Points, the Adult Child must submit a written request within 24 months after the death of the Primary Member using this fully completed Form which must be sent via e-mail to [email protected] along with documentation legally substantiating: (a) the death of the Primary Member, such as an authenticated copy of an official death certificate; (b) the unavailability of any Secondary Member on the account to become the Primary Member; (c) the familial relationship between the Adult Child and the deceased Primary Member; and (d) any other information requested by Unique Travel Corp, in its sole and absolute discretion. The Adult Child must open their own Sandals Select Rewards Account prior to submitting a request to receive the Awards Points.
  12. Sandals may honor a decree or order of competent jurisdiction concerning ownership or control of the Awards Points or Sandals Select Rewards account.
  13. In the event of competing or conflicting claims or requests concerning control, entitlement, or transfer of a Sandals Select Rewards Account or its Awards Points, Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, suspend the Sandals Select Rewards Account until the dispute is legally resolved to its satisfaction or close the Sandals Select Rewards Account and void any Awards Points.

VII. EXPIRATION OF AWARDS POINTS:

  • Awards Points will expire if a Primary Member does not make a reservation at a Participating Resort within three years from the check-out date of their last qualified stay or fully paid qualified booking, using their SSR Program membership number. A Member can avoid having Awards Points expire by making a qualified reservation before the end of the three-year period even if the travel dates are outside of the three-year period (as long the reservation is not cancelled).
  • Members are responsible for ensuring that they add their membership number to their reservation. If a Member has an ‘active’ qualified reservation but did not ensure that their membership number was added to their ‘active’ qualified reservation prior to their Awards Points expiring can call the SSR Program Department 1-800-NOW-4SSG (1-800-669- 4774) to request a reinstatement of their Award’s Points. The Awards Points will only be reinstated by providing a copy of your reservation voucher, resort invoice and payment receipt for a full review by the SSR Program Department to ensure that the reservation qualifies for the Member’s Awards Points to be reinstated.
  • If a Member books a qualified reservation within thirty (30) days of the expiration of their Awards Points, the Member should call the SSR Program Department (1-800-NOW-4SSG (1-800-669-4774) to request to have 100% of their Awards Points reinstated.
  • If a Member books a qualified reservation between 31 and 90 days after the expiration of their Awards Points, the Member will only be eligible to have 50% of their Awards Points reinstated. The Member should call the SSR Program Department 1-800-NOW-4SSG (1- 800-669-4774) to speak with a representative.
  • If a Member’s account has expired 91 days or more, that Member will not be eligible to have their expired Awards Points reinstated. Exceptions to this rule are only considered or granted on a case-by-case basis after a full review of the circumstances. Please call the SSR Program Department 1-800-NOW-4SSG (1-800-669-4774) to speak with a representative.
  • Quebec Members: Unique Travel Corp will send each Member residing in Quebec Canada a written notice 60 to 30 days prior to the date on which the Awards Points expire informing each such Member of the Awards Points expiry due to inactivity.
  • Important Note: Members are responsible for ensuring that they add their membership number to their reservation. Members are also responsible for ensuring that points/nights earned are properly credited. In the event a Member believes that Awards Points have not been properly credited 60 days after qualifying travel, the Member must send a copy of their reservation voucher, resort invoice in question, and payment receipt with their membership number to the Sandals Select Rewards department within 12 months of travel.

  • VIII. RESPONSIBILITY:

    1. [Not applicable to Members residing in Quebec Canada.] Unique Travel Corp, the Participating Resorts, their hotels, owners and management companies, SSR Program partners, and all subsidiaries and/or affiliated companies and resorts, and respective officers, directors, and employees of same (“SSR Parties”) are not, and shall not be, liable for any loss or injury, including death, damage, accident, delay, irregularity or expense arising from or relating to a person’s participation in the SSR Program, the accumulation, use or redemption of any Awards Points or SSR Program benefits, any changes to the SSR Program or its available benefits, and/or the cancellation of the SSR Program. By participating in the SSR Program, each Member fully waives and disclaims all monetary damages against the SSR Parties for any errors or omissions, including by negligence or recklessness of the SSR Parties, arising from or relating to the SSR Program or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
    2. If Unique Travel Corp or any of the SSR Parties is prevented, hindered or delayed in performing any of its obligations under the SSR Program by force majeure (which means any event or circumstances outside of its reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, interruptions to travel, epidemics, pandemics, such as COVID-19 and any variant, terrorist attacks, wars, civil commotions, riots, armed conflicts, or threat of or preparation for any of these, impositions of sanctions, embargos, or breaking off of diplomatic relations, actions by a government or public authority, any labour or trade disputes, strikes, industrial actions, or any illnesses), Unique Travel Corp and the SSR Parties shall not be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or otherwise liable for any such failure or delay in the performance of their obligations under the SSR Program, and all such obligations shall be deemed excused.
    3. The decisions of Unique Travel Corp regarding all matters concerning the SSR Program and the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions are final and binding. Unique Travel Corp reserves the right to deny or revoke Sandals Select Awards Points, any night credit or any benefit at any time in its sole and absolute discretion if it is determined that points/nights/benefit were improperly or incorrectly given or rewarded.
    4. [Not applicable to Members residing in Quebec Canada.] In the event of a dispute between a Member and Unique Travel Corp or any of the SSR Parties concerning Awards Points, nights accrued, or membership benefits, a Member’s sole and exclusive remedy is limited to having the correct amount of Awards Points, nights or other benefits (or other comparable benefit) posted to the Member’s SSR Program account. In no event shall a Member, or anyone claiming through a Member, be entitled to recover monetary damages from Unique Travel Corp or any of the SSR Parties, including any direct, indirect, consequential, special, lost profit, or punitive damages, for any action or inaction arising from or relating to the SSR Program or a breach of, or noncompliance with, these Terms and Conditions.

    IX. PRIVACY POLICY:

    The personal information collected within the SSR Program shall be treated and maintained in accordance with the privacy policy of the Participating Resorts. available at https://www.sandals.com/privacy-policy/ or https://www.beaches.com/general/privacy/ To request an erasure/deletion of all personal information or personal data within your Sandals Select Rewards Account, the Primary Member must close or cancel their Sandals Select Rewards account in accordance with section III above. Upon the verification and verbal confirmation that the Member’s account has been closed or cancelled, please send an erasure/deletion of personal information or personal data request to [email protected] and all personal information or personal data shall be removed in accordance with the terms and conditions of “How long will we retain your information?” in each Participating Resorts privacy policy listed above.

    X. GENERAL MEMBERSHIP RULES:

    1. Membership in the SSR Program is free and is available only to individuals residing in countries that legally permit participation in frequent stay programs. Employees of Unique Travel Corp and its affiliates, Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts and Grand Pineapple Resorts, and their subsidiaries and affiliates are not eligible to participate in the SSR Program. Travel industry professionals booking at industry discount rates are not eligible to participate in the SSR Program. Participation in the SSR Program is void where prohibited.
    2. Unique Travel Corp may, in its sole and absolute discretion, suspend or terminate any Member’s participation in the SSR Program, which may result in a Member forfeiting and losing all accumulated Awards Points, tier status, other benefits, and pending reservations at Participating Resorts if Unique Travel Corp determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that a Member has engaged in conduct that: (a) is inconsistent with local, state, provincial or federal laws or ordinances while participating in the SSR Program or staying at any Participating Resorts; (b) has endangered the life, safety or well-being of other guests or employees at the Participating Resorts; (c) violates the applicable rules of conduct, or causes a disturbance, at Participating Resorts during a stay; (d) results in the Member being asked by management to leave a Participating Resort; (e) is fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive in connection with the accumulation or use of Awards Points or other SSR Program membership privileges or benefits; (f) violates the intellectual property rights of Unique Travel Corp or the Participating Resorts; (g) causes financial loss to Unique Travel Corp or the Participating Resorts, including the failure to timely pay a valid invoice or account in connection with a reservation or stay at Participating Resorts and also including fraudulent credit card activity; (h) violates the Travel Agent Code of conduct, as applicable; (i) constitutes solicitation or unsolicited marketing of guests at a Participating Resort; (j) violates the privacy rights of guests at Participating Resorts, such as taking videos or pictures of guests or using their personal information without their informed consent; or (k) is detrimental to the business or operations of Unique Travel Corp, its affiliates or the Participating Resorts. Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall limit Unique Travel Corp in the exercise of any and all available legal or equitable right or remedies.
    3. Members are responsible for notifying Sandals Select customer service of their Sandals Select membership number at the time of making any booking for a qualifying stay. Earning and redemption of Awards Points are subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Sandals Select benefits and Awards Points may be subject to income or other taxes. All taxes and all disclosures related thereto are the sole responsibility of the Member.
    4. Neither Unique Travel Corp, its affiliates or the Participating Resorts nor their SSR Program partners are responsible for requests or correspondence lost or delayed in the mail. Unique Travel Corp is not responsible for, and reserves the right to correct, any pricing or typographical errors, errors of description, or errors regarding participating properties and partners.
    5. Each Member is responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to the Rules, these Terms and Conditions and as to the number of Awards Points and nights in their account. Unique Travel Corp or its authorized affiliates will attempt to send correspondence to Members to advise them of matters of interest and any changes to the SSR Program. However, Unique Travel Corp and its affiliates will not be liable for any failure to do so or for any other error of communication or equipment.
    6. Each Member is responsible for advising the Sandals Select Rewards department of any change of address or revision of personal profile data.
    7. A Member requesting a name change to his/her account must provide the Sandals Select Rewards Department with a formal request in writing accompanied by a certified legal document as proof of the name change.
    8. The sale, offer for sale, transfer, assignment or barter of any Awards Points, Award Certificates or other SSR Program benefits by any SSR Member (other than by Unique Travel Corp or its authorized affiliates) is strictly prohibited and may result in forfeiture, termination or cancellation of the benefits, credit or membership.
    9. These Terms and Conditions supersede all prior rules and regulations of Sandals UltraClub and the Signature Guest Program.
    10. [Not applicable to Members residing in Quebec Canada.] Unique Travel Corp expressly disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties or conditions of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to, negligence or recklessness, shall the Participating Resorts, their hotels, owners, management companies or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the SSR Program or any such other products or services, even if the Participating Resorts have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
    11. Certain provisions of these Terms and Conditions apply to the Member’s account based on the province in which the Member reside, which is determined by the information provided by Member to Unique Travel Corp (or its affiliates) at the time of enrollment. Member shall update the information provided at the time of enrollment on Member’s province of residence by sending an email to [email protected]
    12. [Not applicable to Members residing in Quebec Canada.] These Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith or in connection with its formation) shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama without regard to the choice of law principles thereof and shall be litigated solely and exclusively in Panama.
    13. For Members residing in Quebec, Canada, these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Quebec.
    14. These Terms and Conditions and all related documents have been drafted in the English language at the express request of the parties. Les présentes modalités ainsi que tous documents s’y rattachant ont été rédigés en langue anglaise à la demande expresse des parties.
