My husband and I traveled to Antigua for our honeymoon. Obviously it has sentimental meaning for me. We loved the people and atmosphere. I'm celiac and they were so accommodating. Can't wait to return to celebrate 5 years in January 2015! Accommodations: Our room was very nice. We stayed in the Caribbean village. We had some issues as soon as we arrived to the room which we quickly looked after. Bed was extremely comfortable and we were really happy to be able to walk out our patio doors. Food: As mentioned before I'm celiac and couldn't be happier with how I was looked after. The staff were very attentive. Location: WOW! The beach is an absolute dream! Clear water and soft sand - what more could you want! Activities: We opted to do the introductory scuba diving course. LOVE!!! Hoping to finish our certifications when we go back :) Spa: So relaxing. We had a couples massage complete with a soak in a tub for two ;)
This was our first international vacation together. Negril, Jamaica is absolutely beautiful!! The staff were great and very friendly. My husband learned to play cricket with the locals. The room was clean and impressive. I will definitely come back to this resort.
Very nice resort. The staff were helpful and friendly.
This long weekend getaway was a surprise to my husband in celebration of his birthday. We had been to Sandals Whitehouse 4 years ago and had a wonderful time. This was no exception! From arrival to departure we were treated as special guests. Always greeted with a warm smile by all passing staff members. The room was beautiful and always clean and well stocked. We did not want for anything. The food was fabulous everywhere we ate. The afternoon pizza was my husband's favorite treat. A special thanks to Joe Blacks for making Craig's birthday dinner celebration a memorable one. Soon (we will) come back!
Sandals Emerald Bay had the most romantic feel of any resort that we've visited so far. There were many areas that a couple could enjoy together - a cabana by the pool, a hut on the beach, a hammock in the gardens . . . One of our favorite ways to end the day was to listen to live music, sipping champagne, atop the patio that overlooked the giant pool with the beach beyond that as the sun set.
Came for a brief 3 night stay for my 50th Birthday. Carrie-Ann and Shahay from Concierge went above and beyond to make it our best stay ever. We were upgraded from lowest Club suite to Swim Up River suite. They sent fresh fruit and a birthday cake slice to the room and were always friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was wonderful with bright smiles and sincere greetings and remembered our names. Norman stood out as an outstanding employee at the Sundowner and also at Barefoot. The ladies at Red Lane gave us an excellent Scents of Love Massage and 2 free gifts. Everything was perfect, except having to leave.
