Long-time girlfriend and I eloped to SRP this summer. She’d done a good deal of research prior and anticipated our stay. I didn’t, and was simply content with the prospect of daily escapes to the beach, Red Stripes in tow. A word to couples considering resort options in Jamaica or the Caribbean for that matter: Book a stay at the Royal Plantation now! Reviews all over the ‘net of SRP are overwhelmingly glowing for a reason – it is truly a remarkable place exclusively for couples. Accommodations are top-notch, its restaurants tantalize and will satisfy even the most discerning of taste buds - Wine Selection, btw, of Le Papillon is impressive. Its setting is picturesque and intimate. The peacocks frolicking around the resort add a lovely touch. The beaches are turquoise slices of paradise. Timid or outgoing, if you have a pulse, night entertainment will stoke movement and contagious laughter. There’s plenty to do as well. I highly recommend a couples massage, candlelight dinner and the Dunn’s River Cruise. But alas, checklist and review of activities not needed here; website has that covered. What I will touch and emphasize on is the unparalleled level of service and attention endowed upon my wife and I throughout our stay. Some adjectives come to mind: World-Class, Hospitable, Charming, Genuine, Captivating, Prompt and how about a noun – WOW! The crown jewel of this resort is the staff for sure. Our butlers Sheldon and Richard altruistically catered to our every whim and flawlessly handled every aspect of our itinerary- ‘Respect mon’ to you both! On the beach, Cleon and Adrian (‘Biggs’) merit high praise for their tireless service and engaging conversation. Our wedding coordinator Naomi was a consummate professional, a doll and true sweetheart. Our photographers, Dwayne and Shavel worked magic for our album; spectacular work guys! Delgardo hosted our candlelight dinner and struck a chord with us as he is a special young man. Mr. Fantastic put a smile on our faces during breakfast at ‘The Terrace’ -ackee and lobster in the morning, ‘nuff said. Night entertainers at the Wobbly Peacock were terrific; Oshane, Jason and Andre at piano made EVERY night memorable! I must also mention the ultra-friendly staff in the spa; we loved you as well. Hospitality industry please take note: this is how it should be done. A truly MAGICAL stay for us! We’re booked to return!
This was our second trip to Sandals Resort and we were celebrating our one year anniversary. Emerald Bay was incredible, every facet of this resort exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely attentative and always had a smile on their face. The dining was phenomenal, we loved grabbing lunch at Dino's and Barefoot by the Sea. Dinner at Il Cielo and La Parisienne were some of the best meals that we have had. Of course the Drunken Duck was a favorite of ours for the night time. Our accomodations were very nice, clean, and spacious. The ground were kept very well maintained which we enjoyed on our morning walks to Cafe de Paris for coffee and Bahama Bay for breakfast. The golf course was the prettiest course we have every played on and the views of the crystal clear water were incredible. The playmakers were so much fun during the day by the pool, they always kept us laughing. The returning guests dinner was a highlight for us, as we got to mingle with other returning guests and the great staff. This will always be one of our favorites, and we cannot wait to come back to Emerald Bay.
It was the most amazing experience we have ever had. It was for me my dream my vacation. We had so much fun. And because one person made the difference we are going back next year. Gina, she is amazing from the beginning to the end. No words can do scribe how incredible she is.
We loved our Jamaica home at Sandals Whitehouse so much that we've booked again for next year and are taking family back with us. Every single member of staff was a joy to meet, making sure that our good time was their priority. Cafe de Paris was an afternoon and evening staple, food was delicious (every single meal), entertainment fun ... No matter who you had a conversation with - guest or staff member people where happy to be there. Thank you all ... looking forward to October 2015.
This was our first time at an "all inclusive ". Norma and I were so impressed that we booked for 2015. The view was so beautiful. The service was fantastic. We were most impressed with Michana Reid. She treated us like family. I can't say enough good about this young lady.
This resort was awesome! The staff the food the entertainment. We have Never been to Jamaica but will be back. We did not have a butler and everything was wonderful. But I did notice things that the butlers were doing for other people and will look into that on our next trip.
