Italian Cuisine at Sandals Resorts

When we think of Italian cuisine, we tend to imagine one singular cuisine representing the entire country. In reality, Italian cuisine is made up of 20 diverse regional cuisines, each with its own unique ingredients and culinary philosophy. We at Sandals look at Italy from a regional point of view. Our Italian restaurants feature the gastronomy of Veneto, Emiglia-Romagna, Toscana, Lazio, Campania, and Puglia, so you can enjoy a tour of Italy without ever leaving the Caribbean.

Andrea Joly is known within the Sandals Chain as the "Iron Chef." He earned this distinguished title in 2011 at the inaugural Sandals Chefs' Summit which saw 22 Executive Chefs from Sandals, Beaches and Grand Pineapple Resorts across the Caribbean, displaying their culinary skills. His talent has also been showcased on international television food networks such as PBS while working alongside Emmy award winning chef, Walter Staib.

After gaining culinary inspiration from his mother, Joly decided to attend the culinary school Alberghiera Regionale di Chatillon, Valle d in 'Aosta, Italy where he honed his skill over the years gaining at total of over two decades of extensive culinary experience.
