Job Requirements:

Main Objective: To impact business for Sandals and Beaches Resorts and all of our related products by servicing, educating, and building relationships in a proactive, professional manner within your assigned territory at the Travel Agent, Tour Operator, and Tourist Board levels. Grow new business by helping travel agents develop marketing plans and reach booking goals via utilization of the vast tools available through the Certified Sandals Specialist Program and Preferred Sandals Specialist Program. Requirements: The position requires an outgoing positive, professional attitude, strong communication and time management skills, teamwork and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Job requires extensive travel both by car and plane for possibly long periods and a major commitment. Sales Managers are required to have a level of computer proficiency that will allow them to navigate the internet, communicate via e-mail, operate a laptop computer, conduct, prepare & update presentations using PowerPoint, manipulate spreadsheets, and prepare documents using a word processor. In addition, Sales Managers are expected to speak in public and prepare presentations for travel agencies, wholesalers and other industry organizations and professionals. The developer would be working with a team of developers and designers to create a multitude of interactive and dynamic projects. QUALIFICATIONS This individual must have a clear understanding of fundamental programming techniques and be able to learn new technologies quickly. Ideal candidates will be able to manage tasks effectively and as well as have extensive development experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly. Unique Vacations Inc., a representative for Sandals and Beaches Resorts, is seeking an experienced full-time Yield Manager based in our Miami, Florida office. This position will perform yield management optimization, inventory allocation, pricing controls, as well as participation in modeling and forecasting of strategic business initiatives. In this capacity, you will also work closely with the Operations team to share key insights and ensure optimization efforts are executed in a timely and accurate manner. General description: The Yield Manager devises and suggests a pricing strategy that takes into account potential hotel occupancy according to seasonal period, in order to optimize the REVPAR (Revenue Per Room) and to maximize sales revenue. He/she institutes a permanent watch to determine the hotels positioning (pricing and occupancy rate) within the market and to make adjustments if required. He/she updates commercial information for the various promoters (tour operators, travel agencies) and reservations systems (GDS and Internet sites). The incumbent is responsible for inventory and yield management in the pre-sale and post-sale process.

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities: Responsible for yield management, margins and analytical guidance to ensure optimal market segmentation, room utilization, retail inventory availability, and property profitability Determines and suggests pricing strategies and optimizing invenroty Work alongside senior level employees to create effective business strategies Create and execute these processes to improve sales performance; strong focus on the execution of these strategies Contribute to business modeling and forecasting efforts to support strategic planning Prepares forecasts and conducts market watches Conducts daily verification of data relating to per-diem hotel activity: occupancy rate, nights per person, rooms sold, and average rate, in order to establish a sales forecast and adjust the pricing policy and number of available rooms, segment by segment Communicate / perform post mortem analysis of marketing offers and their impact on profits as necessary Conducts periodic analyses of the gaps between forecast and actual sales, and then devises appropriate corrective measures.
