Main Objective: To impact business for Sandals and Beaches Resorts and all of our related products by servicing, educating, and building relationships in a proactive, professional manner within your assigned territory at the Travel Agent, Tour Operator, and Tourist Board levels. Grow new business by helping travel agents develop marketing plans and reach booking goals via utilization of the vast tools available through the Certified Sandals Specialist Program and Preferred Sandals Specialist Program. Requirements: The position requires an outgoing positive, professional attitude, strong communication and time management skills, teamwork and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Job requires extensive travel both by car and plane for possibly long periods and a major commitment. Sales Managers are required to have a level of computer proficiency that will allow them to navigate the internet, communicate via e-mail, operate a laptop computer, conduct, prepare & update presentations using PowerPoint, manipulate spreadsheets, and prepare documents using a word processor. In addition, Sales Managers are expected to speak in public and prepare presentations for travel agencies, wholesalers and other industry organizations and professionals. Required field activity: To service Travel Agencies: Daily sales calls; In-House agency presentations; Conducting Sandals/Beaches (Consumer) Nights; Representing the company at Trade Shows; Working bridal and consumer shows; Working with and attending meetings for agency & industry organizations; Conducting self initiated familiarization trips and conducting corporate office mandated fam trips; Planning and executing Sales Blitz; Assisting with events in other regions as needed; Planning and executing Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner events and seminars; Seeking out advertising & promotional opportunities; Positioning Sandals & Beaches products within agencies to reach consumers and expand brand awareness; Any other functions deemed necessary by the company to generate sales. Unique Vacations, Inc. is centrally located, off of the Palmetto Expressway between Bird Road and Miller Drive. We offer an excellent working environment with full benefits, including Resort privileges. • Uses knowledge of current graphic software combining technical, creative and marketing skills to develop user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications for our Sandals and Beaches brands. • Propose, conceptualizes and designs different promotional pieces which could be part of major campaigns including banners, emails, promotional landing pages, etc. • Understands, manipulates, color corrects, and edits RAW photography files to be used on our different web or mobile applications. • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the design and web fields. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Makes changes to design based on feedback from management and others. • Stays abreast of any industry-wide changes in design philosophy and any new tools and technology. • Collaborates with New Media team and other teams on design and delivery of collateral material. • Ability to manage stress and meet tight deadlines. • Meet with the New Media team to discuss upcoming projects or work in progress. • Modify designs based on feedback from various departments and managers. • Ability to be creative and "think outside the box" to create designs to the standards of Sandals and Beaches advertising and marketing out in the field. • Must make suggestions on design based on the feedback of the project. • Prepare web ready graphic files and works closely with the development team to optimize the elements according to professional web standards.
