Tropical Beach Resorts In The Caribbean

Finding tropical destinations isn’t hard, but finding them near the US with the indulgences and inclusions you want can be a bit more challenging. Topping the list for many are Jamaica, The Bahamas, and Turks and Caicos. A short flight from the US, these islands offer some of the Caribbean’s best beaches, waterfalls, and even uninhabited islands. Sandals Bahamas Nassau is best for an exhilarating beach vacation, while any of the Sandals Resorts in Jamaica including Sandals Jamaica Montego Bay, Sandals Jamaica Negril, and Sandals Jamaica Ocho Rios hold promises of a vacation filled with exploration. At Beaches Turks and Caicos, you can find family-oriented adventures that can be a great fit for all ages, serene suites and dynamic ocean views too!

All Sandals Resorts are located on beautiful beaches, but some of the best include Sandals Antigua (most beautiful beach), Sandals Jamaica Negril (best for beach walks and radiant sunsets), Sandals St. Lucia Grand Bay (postcard views), and Sandals Jamaica Montego Bay (vibrant beach atmosphere). With calm, clear water and soft white sand, it’ll be hard to pull yourself away from the beachfront at any of these resorts. Plus, with beach butler service, your cocktails and snacks can be delivered right to you by the ocean! For more insight on our beach resorts, take a look at our ‘Which Sandals resort is best’ post.

When it comes to tropical beach vacations the whole family can enjoy, there’s a lot to consider. You need a location with activities for kids, entertainment for adults, family-friendly amenities, and an amazing beach. Beaches Resorts check all the boxes with Kids Camps, Sesame Street Adventures, the Pirates Island Water Park, multiple restaurants, a swim-up bar, and even a spa. With resorts in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos, Beaches Resorts are designed with both kids and adults in mind, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Nothing beats arriving at your beach destination knowing that everything is handled—from airport transfers and accommodation to meals, drinks, and entertainment. That’s the beauty of an all-inclusive experience, especially at Sandals Resorts. No hidden costs or unexpected expenses; everything is paid for upfront. You might not even need your wallet, unless you want to splurge on upgrades or add-ons, perfect for special occasions. At our beachside all-inclusive resorts, meeting the needs of our guests is our priority!

The best months to go to a beach resort are December to April, which coincide with the winter season in the US. These months fall within the peak season for Caribbean destinations and offer the best weather. November and May can also be great times to visit the islands, with fewer crowds and warm temperatures.

Vacation packing can be as easy or as complicated as you make it. The key to packing for a stay at a beach resort in the islands is to stick to the theme of ‘light, casual, and fun’. Even with that said, don’t be afraid to make room for a bit of elegance for special occasions if needed. Consider your destination and be mindful of overpacking, but don’t forget essentials like swimwear, cover-ups, shorts, t-shirts, and other casual wear. Having the right footwear for your activities is important, including water shoes and trainers for water adventures or hiking, and dressier options for dinner. Pack sunblock, insect repellent, sunhats, and diving gear (optional, as it’s included for guests of Sandals Resorts). Once packing is out of the way, you’ll be well prepared for the good times that are sure to come. For more packing tips, check out our ultimate vacation travel checklist!
