The great thing about vacationing in the Caribbean is the assortment of tours and excursions available to help you get better acquainted with the islands. Both private and group tours are offered on many islands, with popular options including waterfall explorations, beach visits, off-road adventures (like ATV tours), and land and sea tours that let you see the island from an ocean perspective. Most tour operators offer both private and group tours, and it’s best to book as early as possible ahead of your vacation.

Packing for a vacation at a luxury resort can be simple. Step 1: consider your destination. Step 2: prepare or download a packing list. Step 3 (if headed for the islands): keep comfort and lightweight options in mind, and be prepared to avoid overpacking. Swimwear, cover-ups, shorts, t-shirts, and other casual options are a must. Dressier options for dinners, shows, and other events can also come in handy. Ensure you have the right footwear for your planned activities, including water shoes and trainers for water adventures or hiking and more elegant options for dinner. Don’t forget essentials like sunblock, insect repellent, sunhats, and diving gear. If you’ll be staying at Sandals Resorts, you won’t need to worry about dive equipment, as it’s included. And most importantly, don’t forget to have fun! For more packing tips, take a look at our ultimate vacation packing checklist!
